Helen, I use a similar “color blocking” as your friend. I use a metal ruler and draw the color in with the “chisel” side of the MildLiner. It fits perfectly in the grid box. Like your friend, I set it one block away from the “numbers”. I don’t outline it at all. I do this for work (dark gray) and sleep (pink for sleep, blue for awake). That way, I can see these at a glance. In the end, if it doesn’t work for you, let it go. You will find “the shoe that fits”. 🙂

You really do amaze me, how much you do, and do so well - you're such a good role model. Despite all my planning, I never get everything done (sometimes not even half). LOL I usually blame my life-long insomnia, for running out of steam and procrastinating, or aking forever to complete tasks. Which is why whenever you criticize yourself I just want to yell NOOOO, you're awesome! Really, your videos ARE the best, they're so soothing - a much needed pick-me-up. I've tried to find other channels to fill in when I can't wait for Sunday, but I haven't found any that compare to TCMC. Which is why I often find myself re-watching your old videos multiple times. I usually rip my washi against the blade, I just make the blade longer so it lies flat. I love that you're taking yourself out on a date! More ppl should do this, don't always need to go with other ppl. I hope you had a lovely Valentines aka galentines, aka singleawarenssday lol If you want to calc 24 time all you have to remember is + or - 12...e.g. say you want to know what 9pm is, 9+12= 21. If you want to know what 1800hrs is, 18-12=6. Another fun fact- when you multiply the numbers on the clock by 5, you get the minutes of the clock.

I agree! When I hear that it makes me want to give her a hug 🤗 she is an amazing person and it makes me sad to hear how hard on herself she is! 😢 Just had a random funny thought, she needs some to just stand next to her and continuously compliment her (like that one scene in the good place if you've seen that tv show 😁) that'd help counteract that negative self talk. 😆 Your comment was nice to read though, I think at least we can help in this way by saying positive things in comments. 💕

If you can’t get to the gym, you can always do a home workout through KZbin or some other fitness streaming platform such as BeachBody or maybe look into investing in something like a Peloton bike. I don’t go to the gym at all because I use a fitness platform called OpenFit to work out at home. It has different types of programs such as HIIT, strength training, Pilates, yoga, etc. It also offers monthly live workouts and challenges.

In terms of how to cut washi without cutting though the page, I can also do it. I would say it is pure experience but here are some tips 1. cutting though washi and other paper have very different feel, probably from texture of paper 2. try start the cut slightly outside of the washi to get a sense of how deep the underlying paper is 3. go light when in doubt, having a second pass do not hurt and you can always rip the washi along a line you partially cut though
