Agree! Mental health shouldn’t be a taboo as so many people treat it as though it were. That’s another reason your channel is so endearing to me. It is a brave thing you’re doing, putting it out there Helen, but so grateful you are. The dinosaurs are adorable! I was reluctant to take medications as well. I felt weak, like I should be able to manage myself but couldn't. However, I finally gave in, and it changed my life for the better. Good luck!

Was soooo excited to see that you made green the main color of your doodles 😃 green is my favorite color and I think your dinosaurs looked adorable they made me smile. The double chocolate granola you made looks delicious I definitely want to try making it. I made your original granola and it was so delicious loved sprinkling it on my yogurt. I hope your Chinese cookies turn out they were the first type of cookies I ever made. Not sure if it’s similar to the recipe you’ll be using I just know they were delicious. Love your doodles! It really adds so much interest and layers of visual fun to the not always fun of to do lists. I don't doodle but I really need to add more stickers to my journals and spreads. Also thanks for sharing your recipes. I want to try the granola and cornbread ones. I hope everything works out with your medications. Making those kinds of decisions aren't easy.

I completely understand the internal struggle with medication! I didn’t even find out that I could be medicated until I was already an adult with an established career. Then I dithered about getting medication for several years. I figured, “I already got this far unmedicated. Do I reeeeally need it?!” My friends who were on similar medications helped encourage me and I finally took the leap. I saw some definite changes that were helpful, but some of the side-effects weren’t great, so I’m still searching for a good med/dose with the help of my awesome doctor. Hopefully your journey goes well!

My dad eats kiwi with the skins on too! He gives them a good scrub with like a potato cleaning brush and most of the hairs go away.

I love the music you have in this video. I never ate a kiwi with the skin. Today I tried lychee for the first time. I cut the top and peeled off the skin. It was sweet yet a bit tangy. I didn't expect the seed to be so big!

I understand the reluctance to take medication. I know a lot of people have that same fear. The only medication I've ever been truly worried about is taking antidepressants. Took myself and my doctor about a year to convince me to try them. Just know that you know your body best and make sure to advocate for yourself if you feel off in any way. It took more than a few tries for me to find the right medication. P.S. I think the dino's are cute. ❤

I usually enjoy your content, but I have to say I'm a bit partial to these doodling videos! I'm just trying to learn and find new ways of adding things to my own pages and I always end up feeling so accomplished after trying new things that you bring up. I really hope that everything will go well with the medication and that you won't find it too bad of an experience. It's not always an easy decision, and not always for everyone, but when it helps it can really be a good support in your everyday life. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be helpful for you!
