Content that's always clean, family friendly, most of all - honest, often entertaining and even hilarious now and then, and importantly this channel is educational. Ben puts effort in and it shows. Can't understand why he doesn't have triple the subscribers. this channel's not loaded down with terminology or ideology with no trace of politics. Objective, sage discussion from the perspective of an awesome coin shop's owner? yes, please! If I could take a lot off my plate I'd watch a lot more minutes on this channel.

As always . . . very solid and clear advice. Nothing will ever beat in-hand viewing of thousands and thousands of coins, particularly if they are in your 'collecting wheelhouse'. Then, just as you mentioned, sending a few off here and there that may have a potential 'upside' can also be assisted by the VERY real, but often-ignored, "entertainment value" that you get. Comparing your eye to those of the graders is a seriously fun element of the submission process!!! -- Jeff

Grading is a cost, but hopefully that cost adds value, and peace of mind for the collector, buyer or seller.

Grading companies are run by businessmen to make money. Collecters are the victims. I'm shocked that collecters are putting up with the arrogance of those judges and their mysterious detail grades.

Very easy process if you go to the FUN show. Went with NGC. What coins should you get graded? -Depends on the collector and purpose. Don’t like the grade? Crack it out and consider it an a pensive 2nd opinion.

I sent 50, ATB "W" mint Quarters to ANACS at a "pre-screen" rate of $10 per coin that straight-grades MS60 and above. Heck of a deal.

If I have an NGC-graded coin and want it in a PCGS holder (there is only 1 higher) can I request that and specify if that can be done without a loss of a grade then do it. BUT if you were to regrade it down don't do anything? Just send it back??? Right now it's an NGC MS67+ RD (PLUS) Which set registries accept mixed coin holders if any? Which would solve the issue.

Hi Ben. I sometimes buy an inexpensive coin that has been graded, and I figure the cost of grading into the price I am willing to pay. BTW, I am loud! Stay away from me!
