Just wish we had this over in the uk with someone so generous on deals and exciting to talk to especially if you’re new to the scene. I’ve been collecting for around 5 months now have over 5.5k of books some graded and have a big one for auction at the moment on Heritage Auctions. When I was a kid in the 70s had all the Star Wars stuff but they were all given away duh! But you didn’t know they’d be worth anything in future. Love your shows keep them up and possibly one day I’ll come visit you. Cheers 🍻

Great books you picked up. I hate to say it but after 15 years of collecting and 5 short boxes of keys,low print runs,rare variants and cool covers,i think this is going to be my last year of collecting cause there is only a handful of books i want then i am done so if i can get these books a TMNT#1, X-Men#1 1963, Amazing fantasy#15 and Batman#1 1940 i am done collecting cause i have everything i want but odds are i willn't be able to get all those big grail books but either way after this year,I am done collecting comics, it's been fun but everything has to come to end.

I want to come down & do a Barn show! Would love to know when the Next show is in February, March, or April. It's a Road Trip for me, but would be an adventure! Would be a great weekend trip for the wife & me. She's not into the hobby but puts up with me.

The only time you consider a raw for slab prices, is if its a 99% chance at a 9.8, if the 9.8 has a massive value gap with the 9.6, and finally, if the 9.6 averages a sale price similar to what you're paying for the raw copy in question. Even when following this method, you still lose out on submission fees, taxes, and seller fees if you miss the 9.8. So that 9.8 value has got to be way way worth it for the gamble.

Watching this today while sorting and bagging & boarding and only listening to chunks of it, am I the only one who thinks Joe could do an incredible impression of Shaggy from Scooby Doo (Casey Kasem classic voice)? I'm just amazed when I see people slab valiant comics. I collected them all and was heartbroken when they went belly up and the stores started putting them in dollar boxes.

That's not a real live Stan Lee sig. You see those same small manufactured Stan Lee sigs on a lot of those Jim Lee Xmens. I can't remember how they were done, either printed or stamped. If I'm wrong please explain.

That issue #1 of X-Men is no different than Having Stan Lee signing a piece of paper! When the signature is valued more than the book it's not worth getting! For that price it should be slabbed & include raw copies of the other covers!😁😎
