Niv-Mizzet + Curiosity is always a combo that is an instant game ender and is fairly popular too

Assuming you play against 3 other opponents, that is 120 life points you need to take. Niv's ping is triggered by your card draws. Since your deck only has 99 cards and you are pinging for 1 damage each time, the combo is definitely not a guaranteed game ender 😆

In my zhulodok deck I like throwing thornbite staff and basalisk collar on my endbringer for a permanent board wipe against my enemies until they remove it. Basalt Monolith and forsaken monument is a nice simple infinite mana combo, and if you have infinite mana then staff of domination does lots of fun stuff...

Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of smog. If lucky is on your side, and you also have a Dark Ritual, a Swamp and an Elvish Spirit Guide on hand, you can make a turn 1 OTK.

I like my Jinnie Fay, Academy Manufactor, and Prosperous Partnership combo. I didn't realize it goes infinite until a person at my former LGS asked if it went infinite after I happened to have all three on board during a game. You create infinite creatures but only have up to three untapped at a time. If you get around the table without a board wipe, you win. It's a fair infinite combo because it gives my opponents one turn each to deal with my board before I win.

This has more than two pieces, but Unctus, Grand Metatect; two creatures that tap to untap, and Lab Man or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Immediately put your entire library into the graveyard and win.

Straight out the gate it is a golden rule to shatter bounce or counter the scepter whenever you see it. However you do it, make sure to get rid of it. Unless you have a control artifact spell.

I run that in my Urza lord high artificer deck, alongside Jace weilder of mysteries and thassa's oracle and lab maniac so i can mill myself out and just win once it gets online.

what about grind stone and painters servant. in mono blue its insane cause you can fill rest of deck with cheap card draw and tutor for artifact spells. i regularly pull the combo within 5 turns into match. once again as with any deck it counters things well. but things counter it very well aswell.

i generally like the combo of heart beat of spring. mana flare. gauntlet of might. unbound flourishing. etc combos well with x spells and x abilities and creatures with x cost. its not infinite combo but in a deck with alot x cost stuff it turns deck into a power house if the mana doublers isnt destroyed soon.

These are all very powerful combos that feel eponymous with commander - but, like Craterhoof / Torment of Hailfire wins, you are awarded zero style points for winning in this fashion.

isochron isnt as strong some may think. have to build a deck around it whixh leaves alot of vulberabilities. 1 pithing needle. a steel bane hydra. jesters caps. boseiju who endures ect. combo decks can be good vs creature sweep decks. but there is other deck types that are heavier on enchantment artifact hate that can counter combo decks. they good. but they like all decks in mtg have their own vulnerabilities

I don’t mind a lot of combos but Thassa’s oracle is just one those that I find very bland and not satisfying to see happen and is really overplayed so I shall cockblock every deck that has blue in it with temple bell
