It looks pretty dope. The MAJOR thing I'd add would be protection and counterspells because as soon as someone plays against this they will focus your commander and probably warn everyone else about its strength.

The only issue with this deck is people with creature based decks just leaving the table after the first game, cuz is super frustrating to play against 😂

Yeah I tried to rectify this problem by running ways to also UNTAP my opponent’s creatures 😂 it’s tricky but makes it more political and can let you get the tap effects multiple times

Creature decks should inherently be cautious with how they play into any kind of control deck but having your creatures tapped a bunch isn't that bad, sure you can't attack or block but a good creature deck should also have plenty of other routes to play and win and if they don't then they're probably frustrated with a lot of other themes

@@cadeplaisance3169 I have a hylda deck and I literally demonstrated infinite draw and mana on turn 5 in a game. No fast mana, pricy staples, etc. Even outside of good luck, you can pretty reliably put yourself in a position where you cant be interacted with.

Opposition and Intruder Alarm make this deck oppressive as hell, and it makes your board state into the Greenland ice sheet a lot quicker than my friends get comfortable with haha.

Gigadrowse is a one mana instant that can tap one opponent's creature and has replicate to do it more than one with enough mana. Perfect for this deck

With hylda's third ability to scry 2 draw 1 you can easily add approach of the second sun and with 2 taps you've dug down to the second cast

Danny Pink makes Hylda's middle ability "Draw a card for each creature you control" the first time you use it each turn.

An amazing card I have in my Hylda which I didn’t build too mean, The Temporal Anchor. Turn that scry 2 draw 1 into basically a draw 3. Having Agatha’s would cauldron if you have the budget for it as well as this among other artificers it doesn’t hurt to throw in some recursion so you can get them back if they get blown up. Temporal Anchor doesn’t seem to be too huge of a target honestly people go for my elvish mariner first or for my opposition. Fun deck to play even when it isn’t being too oppressive. I love intruder alert in here to balance out the tapping of everything too.

This was the first ever commander deck I ever built and I have to say it's incredibly fun to play. You also taught me some new synergizes for the deck that didn't even occur to me. When I first looked at Court Street Denizen it seemed kind of mid to me but it never occured to me I could just make unlimited elementals with it while tapping down my opponents stuff.

One thing to keep in mind with Regna's Sanction. Hylda's ability only triggers when YOU tap your opponent's creatures, but Regna's Sanction forces your opponents to tap their OWN creatures. The card still works, but you won't get your commander's effect from it.

Hylda, opposition, ashond’s altar is a phenomenal combo. I currently run this deck as my higher tier casual deck. You need to play LOTS of interaction though, counters and protection otherwise Hylda will die many many times😂

honestly Im really happy with the amount of commanders i got from this sets booster box i didnt get imodane but i got hylda,kellan the goosemother a random copy of minsc and boo the secondary farie commander from the precon as well as a bitter blossom got a defense of the heart tallion and some of the other good enchantments sadly not doubling season but u cant win em all and i just enjoy building decks out of the boxes even if they arent the best decks ever

For those running Levitation, look into Archetype of Imagination. It not only gives you evasion but also cuts down all of your opponents flyers making cards like Aboshan and Deluge more devastating. 😅

I would add cards that produce creatures for your opponents, spellslinger decks don't care if goblin electromancer is tapped, they do care if at the start if their turn, you tap ge and 4 other creatures making 5 4/4s

Friend built this, put about 300 in it and honestly in a pod of 4 or more its semi mid because theres just no way to tap everything you know. Not to mention the targeting once you tap someones card

Ashdod’s alter + opposition and a token doubler and you’ll be able to have a huge board state and actually tap all creatures down. Throw interludes alert in there and you’re infinite for token generation and colorless mana.

I'm crossed if I wanna make this deck oppressive and mean or flavor it as Hylda being the only human surrounded by elementals and monsters for flavor. Lonely ice queen, or powerful terrible monarch. Power, or flavor is always my crux.

I thought Siren’s Call was not working because tapped creatures are not able to attack but after reading the rules of Siren’s Call, I found it works indeed. Reading the card doesn’t always explains the card😅

@@MrGeebee1983 Actually reading the card does work, you just need to do so carefully and literally - without breaking the requirements of attacking. They must attack this turn if able, any that don't attack die unless they are walls or came in. Note this will still kill non-walls with defender The dirtiest of these effects is Maddening Imp - he doesn't even care if they have summoning sickness, they have to attack or die

I added willbreaker to my hylda deck so you can literally steal every creature on the board with opposition. Also added an altar of dementia and ashnods altar so if they try and do something about it i just kill everything

I'm not quite sure Regna's Sanction works the way you think: You pick "foe" and the "foe" taps their creatures.... YOU are "not" the "foe", so Hylda doesn't trigger. Correct me if i'm wrong, pls!!!

Hylda has a lot of potential power for sure, providing both card advantage as well as a powerful board-based, go-wide/tall endgame. But Omega level? Come now, Mitch. As soon as your opponent plays a non-creature deck, Hylda folds faster than a wet paper towel castle. No creatures to tap? No value. And DEFINITELY not omega-level.

My deck dosent have many different cards. But i would like to suggest any cards that give away creatures. If you play against a pod with lower creature counts you will be sad. Theres an artifact creature that enters under an opponents control and give each other player 1/1 creatures on upkeep. Very good to guarantee tap targets.
