Actually, any combo with Queza needs two cards to properly win: Elixir of Immortality and Urza's Battlethopter. Or, alternatively, you could use Scout's Warning and Laboratory Maniac, that way when you draw out your deck, you simply win. Keep in mind, this is in addition to either having Lich's Mastery or Drogskol Reaver, since you have to have a way to cast things at instant speed. The problem with Lich's Mastery or the Reaver is you need a discard outlet, and the end of turn clean-up step doesn't let anyone cast or activate abilities, since this is a game-state step and no player has priority. The reason for needing discard is simply because you need cards in your graveyard so you don't lose on the next turn.

I could be wrong but because sheoldred and lich's mastery do not say may draw card. This causes an endless loop that you cannot break and that loses you the game. In order for that combo to work properly you would need an interrupt to kill sheoldred.

So basically as long as you control lichs mastery, you won't lose by draw. Your correct in that it isn't a may, it's a must.

its worth noting with the sheoldred and lich mastery combo, neither effects are MAY, meaning if you start the infinite draw trigger and have no way of breaking said combo IE sacking sheoldred, or a secondary effect that kills your opponents. you auto draw the game as you lock the game into a loop you cannot choose to end

One I thought could have used a brief mention with Tivit (even though it can be prevented) Time Sieve. No matter what you get out of the voting, you get an extra turn

So for the Tivit combo, splash in the new Elesh Norn or panharmonicon and you trigger the ETB twice, netting 4 treasure for just 2 mana, meaning a 2 treasure gain each turn

also with myrkul since you have green and white with the token doublers if you have all three you make 8 token enchants so it gets nasty real quick.

Does the Ugin's nexus combo work ? The extra turn ability is an if, not a when. It's not a triggered ability, but a replacement effect. Since the copy going to the graveyard is from a state based action, you never get priority to bounce the real one, and the real one prevents you from getting the extra turn...

Ugin's Nexus 2nd ability (and all other Extra turn effects) create an Extra turn after the current turn, the Extra Turn only "Begin" when current turn is ending. so bounce Ugin's Nexus Before EOT then players can begin your extra turn like normal.

I run Queza and Drogskol Reaver in my Tivit just for fun, either I go for infinite turns with time sieve extra votes and teleportation circle, or I just kill myself and take everyone else with me. Also building a Solphim and the green dominus is honestly fun.

From a single singular misuse of the word singular a person can single-handedly start a sort of bad grammar virus that potentially effects every single Magic The Gathering youtube content creater and by extension their audience. After all, we are a community. These singular circumstances are not merely situational but can be felt throughout the community and at every single LGS. I suspect my solitary hope is not held in isolation, but is shared by the community no matter what circumstances they may find themselves in. I trust my anecdote is not merely circumstantial, that is to say associated with but not modeled by the various goings on of not just a single, but several KZbin content creators and my friends at my LGS. Oh, it would be a singular experience for my single desire to come true that under all circumstances, and not just situationally that occurrences of the misuse of the words singular and circumstantial would be eschewed. Rather than the common misuse within the body magic the gathering players should say what we really mean, and that is most commonly: single and situational.
