With Gisa you can use Homeward Path in response to the decayed trigger and return the decayed creatures to their owners. The creatures would then die under your opponent's control and would trigger Gisa again, returning them to the battlefield under your control next upkeep. Pretty sweet combo.

You can't scrifice permaments you don't control. So Homeward Path doesn't work the way you want it to in this case.

Teferi's Veil will prevent your decay zombies from sacrificing at the end of combat. It will also protect them from sorcery speed wraths. Just stack the phasing triggers to resolve before the sac trigger.

Adeline is great in Tryn and Silvar. Attack with Silvar, create 3 humans, chomp chomp chomp, Silvar gets indestructible and three counters every turn and triggers all your blood artists. There’s a lot of good human creators for Silvar in this set actually.

Edict effects combine well with Decayed. They combine even better with Gisa: each time one of her decayed creatures dies she gets a bunch of replacements.

Why is Homeward Path never brought up with Gisa? Attack with the stolen stuff, do damage, before combat ends homeward path them back to their owners. They all die WHILE CONTROLLED BY THE OPPONENT to the decay trigger, and they go back into exile and loop back to you at the beginning of your next upkeep.

The trigger should fizzle as you cannot sacrifice a creature you don't control. Creature still has decaying though.

My group of friends has a rule that we can pick any legendary creature from our 99 to partner with our decks main commander. Lier will pair very nicely with Muldrotha in my muldrotha spellslinger deck lol

A Saryth, vipers fang fight deck could go absolutely insane with cryptolith rite, and just mana dorks in general, like lanowar elves.

Lier is a great backup plan for Vadrok decks. It gives you access to your graveyard when you don't have the ability to mutate. Also it can help trigger other things that like graveyard casts. Vega, River Kelpie, Sevinne, Thalias Geistcaller, Burning Vengeance, Ominous Roost, Secrets of the Dead....etc. I've been trying it out in a Vadrok historic brawl deck and it's glorious

Kurbis = Kürbis -> German for Pumpkin. I love the Deathtouch / Hexproof Lady. I play a Esika Deck and use the Vigilance of her to attack and use her Mana Abillity on my Legendary Creatures to get more value. So if you can get all your Attacking Creatures Vigilance, they still do the Damamge but have also Hexproof.

There's a big difference between content creation vs typical salaried career jobs and changing your style of content (even with the members of your cast) can have big impacts to a YT channel. Hydras Growth on the XGG commander can make sure that it has +1+1 counters. Plus if your running +1+1 counters you definately run The Ozolith, plus card that put ability counters on cards, maybe an include in Kathril???

@Josh@Jimmy My play group has been proxying Adeline as their commander for a bit now and she pops off pretty easy. Like you said, she doesn't need to attack to make the tokens and anointed/divine visitation are obvious. But when you are ready to attack like the Voltron commander she is, commanders plate, dark steel plate, lightning greaves, swiftfoot boots, whispersilk cloak, trailblazer boots and all the instant speed white spells that give protection from a color. So many things to make sure she gets in and one shot someone

Saryth is going in my Glissa Sunseeker deck. I can use her to untap Glissa and destroy even MORE artifacts and other things I'm turning into artifacts, and she provides hexproof to Glissa when she's not tapped. The deck also has a bit of "legendary" tribal, and she's legendary too! Yay. :D

Saryth makes your mana dorks pretty great blockers. Uril the Miststalker will be thinking twice about attacking you when you can block with your Llanowar Elves, then tap it for mana, and now it has deathtouch.

A rule question: so since a trample deathtouch only need to assign lethal damage, aka 1, how does that work if I got rune tails, kitsune ascendent out? It prevents damage to my creatures so 1 deathtouch damage wouldnt be lethal

The damage is still "lethal" in that it is enough to kill the creature based on toughness. If damage prevention or other means of preventing the creature from dying affected trample, indestructible would prevent trample no matter what.

From the rules (the highlighting is mine): "510.1c A blocked creature assigns its combat damage to the creatures blocking it. [...] If two or more creatures are blocking it, it assigns its combat damage to those creatures according to the damage assignment order announced for it. This may allow the blocked creature to divide its combat damage. However, it can’t assign combat damage to a creature that’s blocking it unless, when combat damage assignments are complete, each creature that precedes that blocking creature in its order is assigned lethal damage. When checking for assigned lethal damage, take into account damage already marked on the creature and damage from other creatures that’s being assigned during the same combat damage step, *but not any abilities or effects that might change the amount of damage that’s actually dealt.* An amount of damage that’s greater than a creature’s lethal damage may be assigned to it." "702.2c Any nonzero amount of combat damage assigned to a creature by a source with deathtouch is considered to be lethal damage for the purposes of determining if a proposed combat damage assignment is valid, regardless of that creature’s toughness." Therefore, you can assign one point of damage (because rule 702.2c says that's lethal) even if that damage will be prevented (because the bolded portion of 510.1c says you ignore that when checking for damage assignment validity). The rest of the damage can be assigned to subsequent blocking creatures, or, if the attacking creature has trample and there are no more blocking creatures, to the attacked player/planeswalker. (I didn't add the quote for the corresponding trample rule for assigning combat damage because it's even longer, but it works the way you think it does.)
