Ben has a 15-minute delay on the ticker, Michael is watching 1-minute candles.

Michael’s 44-48 yo HS graduation observation was weirdly on point. I might ‘hypothetically’ use it cuz it feels more polite. Maybe to me it feels like a play off a ‘never ask a woman her age” thing

Anyone thinks Ben looks like Topher Grace. For those who don't know, he was Eddie Brock in the third Maguire Spider-Man.
@Josh-eb1bd8 сағат бұрын
No one thinks that. His mid forties receding hairline and bad takes ensure he is never confused with a superhero or intelligent money manager.

I gotta say - the Mag7 contributes the vast majority of the earrings growth into the SPY but the professional money class (messers Batnick and Carlson sadly included) still cries concentration! I can’t reconcile the two.
@JimboJimbo-i4i15 сағат бұрын
The conversation on private is absolutely insane by you two, you didn’t even factor the most important and best part - someone who can literally take care of all your health considerations whilst making something taste good. I’ll almost certainly never be able to afford one but if I had 50+ mill I would 100% use one.

We refer to the period between 2000 and 2010 as "The Noughties" in the UK, fyi - pronounced like "naughty" - they paled in comparison to the 90s , of course.

The comments about leveraged funds are uninformed and naive. If you can deal with the drawdowns, 2x QQQ or SPY makes a lot of sense. Yes, a 2x daily resetting product might not make exactly 2x the return of the underlying, but so what ? There's a wealth of research supporting the idea that these products, if used sensibly, are fine for long-term holders. But let's not forget that this podcast is for "entertainment only" so perhaps I'm being optimistic to expect anything more.
@WanderingExistence4 сағат бұрын
Can you help me understand what a sensible utilization of these products is? Is it something to utilize on big drawdowns like this as opposed to the chop Nvidia has had in the past month?

Am I the only one sick of even hearing the term "AI"? It's gone from interesting, skipped right past cool, and went straight to irritating. I say pull the plug on the whole thing, stop spending billions on this nonsense. Old fashioned Google circa 2021 was fine.
