Wonderful medical preps....a MUST have in an emergency.

I watch a lot of food pantry prep for ideas, but I don’t see medical preps. I really appreciate this video. Mouthwash is a really great idea for infection for mouth. I learned you can use feminine thin pads as a bandage as well. Thanks

We use activated charcoal and coconut oil for teeth infections. But we stock mouthwash to pull off ticks (on a cotton ball over the tick, pulls it right off) and an insect repellant.

@@TheCookFamilyHomestead Another favorite of mine is having super glue in my kit, a couple of tubes, small single use kind. Especially when out on hunting trips. Helps close up a deep cut or laceration quickly..

Great advice! I keep superglue in my garage, but should throw one in our medical kits.

You should be including supplements like vit D3 with K2. My husband and I started Dec 2019 taking 10,000 iu of D3K2 we added querectin, and we added NAC. Basically everything that the front line dr’s came out with later that spring ..we were already taking. During COVID I was a teacher in the schools, pre-K & kindergarten and so was constantly exposed to all kinds of upper respiratory bugs and NEVER developed any illness. My husband and I have been free of any illness since Dec 2019 and we are both now 70. The main supplement …not included with front line dr’s is “vit. D-3 with K 2”. . And now utube Dr John Campbell is trying to spread the importance of appropriate Vit D 3 w/ K2 in your system to keep your immune system running smooth, plus keeping cancer away. They found ALL COVID patients in the hospital had vitamin d levels tested were 20 and below. Optimum level of Vitamin D level is above 60 and the closer you get to 100, cancer does not like and has a great deal of difficulty even getting started. The main gist here is start including front line dr’s pre covid and covid and post covid supplements and get some Vitamin D3/K2. I get Dr Berg’ vitamin D3w/K2.

That’s a lot of supplies. What about expiration dates. No way you can use all that in a timely matter.

Genuinely curious. When I see large stock piles like this I always get curious do you guys buy these items and then just keep them for years and years? Even after they expire, incase of a world emergency? Or do you use them as needed? I always wonder.

Good question! We have 2 kinds of storage foods. One is long term, freeze dried food with 30 year shelf life. The other kinds like cans or boxed food we rotate. When we use one we replace so it doesn't expire. Thanks for watching!
