Just my two or five cents. I am not expecting any justifications. 1. Could have used shallow, custom-made sub or if that's not feasible, the 4000 could have been placed sideways with proper insulations for better space utilisation. 2. This particular projector cannot sufficiently light up this large a screen (just around 15 foot lamberts) (Demo content with full brightness mode is different from 4K HDR content -- the actual content need more light). As someone else commented, the reflections on sidewalls could be distracting, but given the low projector brightness it might not be a problem. 3. The surrounds sound better when a monopole is placed on axis to MLP than a diapole/bipole does. 4. Though it's a personal preference, steps could have been on the side aisle and not on the center -- that's the prime spot in any home cinema. I have seen people avoid a love seat or a even number of seats (2 or 4) just to get that prime center seat. But if aesthetics are more important, this works. 5. The back row is right up against the rear wall -- but again if 200" is non-optional, these sacrifices are not avoidable. Generally, viewing angle is more important than just getting a bigger screen. If I am not wrong the front row is about 16ft from screen (with 16.5 ft screen wall, the LCR is not at optimum positions for wider sound stage as well) and that gives about 48 deg angle. If that's the angle desired, I would have opted for a 165" at 13ft (just an example, not going to be exact middle where I am getting null) and have the back row a bit forward allowing for better sound stage overall. Ceiling mounted bookshelves are the way to go for Atmos. Day & night difference with in-ceilings & aimed-at-MLP speakers. Also, with AT screens, the center channel should be the same speaker as Left & Right. Supreme 2002 in this case. A "center" speaker is usually for TV viewers who cannot place the speaker behind the screen. Yes, I'm learning about these things now and thought I could show off. To each their own. Don't bother my comment. :)) Btw, a good looking theater with neat finishes.

@vimallekshman Thank you for your observations. All these things were already taken into consideration. Extensive discussions and feasibility checks were analyzed. At the end of the day we all need to settle with few sacrifices to build our dream theater. Iam not going to justify my choices because this is my clients dream and their visualization. You are ought to differ from it. We can sit and discuss to build ur dream theater sir. Thank you for taking time and sparking this conversation. Let's learn together 😊

Fiberglass vs Rockwool vs polyster wool which one would be better. Do you do virtual consultation?
@vimallekshman2 ай бұрын
@@SangeethAntonysamy Fiberglass. But some say it's hazardous. I guess it depends on the product.
@TheCoreAudios2 ай бұрын
Above all, fiber glass has excellent acoustic property. Way better than rockwool and polywools. You need to understand that the fiber glass is manufactured by processing glass. Earlier, we did not had the technology to bond this element . Hence, in course of time, the elements become unstable and emit dust particle which is less than 1 micron. Hence it was hazardous to health and had become carcinogenic . Same applies to Rockwool too, this product is made of rock minerals which also emits dust in course of time. But not as hazardous as Glass wool. But in todays technology, scientist have found the way to bond these elements so that the elements are stable and superior bonding is achieved. Today Glasswool is used in many residential constructions for damping across the globe. Especially, where wooden houses are predominant.

@@vimallekshman Thanks for responding. Even though we are wrapping it around a cloth. most of the people here uses fiberglass for acoustics. Moreover we have mattresses made of fiberglass. But I am not advocating for fiberglass I would take what you said

@@TheCoreAudios Just finished....I was actually very eager to see how you have got the IMAX technology with in the limitation of a "Home Theatre" and you answered all my questions when you were explaining the aspect ratio and why IMAX cannot be got into the limits of a home cinema, given its sheer size and technical sophistication. Thanks Javed bhai, for being absolutely sincere and honest....that is the main reason I follow your videos and look forward to it.
