Thank you for making this. I have some leftover fabric from a pillow sham project and I was thinking an A-line skirt might actually be a fun think to make with it, and I knew it'd be a few simple cuts, but I was stuck on the geometry. Using the hip measurements was the missing piece in my brain for this to make sense. Also using a 2 inch slant off the bottom hem is a heck of a lot easier than breaking out a french curve stencil, which was my original plan.

You use the hip measurement to cut the waist, and slant the bottom part how you want. I'm glad you find this tutorial helpful.💕💕
