I agree! They are my favorite dollar tree DYIers! Not everything is my style but I’d still craft them because I love them so much! I framed my medicine cabinet with popsicle sticks and kept it a secret from my husband and he think it looks great. I would say that in general I am crafty but they are inspiring and the videos are edited very well!

I agree that hot glue can be a bit messy for thinner twine but works fine for thicker twine. I am just starting to decorate boho style for my living room. I think boho is such a fun way to decorate.

Fabertac glue works great and dries fast. You did a nice job painting them with chalk paint. You may find that spray paint will give you better coverage.

Cute stuff! I am going to make everything! I use wood glue when I make decorative bowls and platters with rope and twine. As for paint, I find that spray paint or a water/dye (use can use food coloring or Rit dye) mixture in a spray bottle really gets into the groves and gives you complete coverage.

A great tutorial - thanks for sharing. Another trick to stop bleed through when painting jute rope, is to paint a thin layer of mod podge at the end of the tape - this is for any painting when crisp lines are needed tbh. (though, if for example you have two colours and your bottom layer is white, then paint over the tape with white first and let this dry - hope this makes sense). Also, if you have hot glue gun mess, pull out your air dryer- it works so well to clean up the messy strings. from the hot glue gun

Just WOW guys these all came out so incredible. Also love Kat's channel and your collab. I've always taken a lighter to any project I made with jute cord and it melts the hot glue into the cord so you don't see it. You just keep moving the fire and don't let it stay in one place for to long. But also love that you can use mod podge as well. Your boho Diy's are awesome. Definitely would make any of them. 💐🤗💐💞💕💓

I soak the twine in the glue, wrap and dry... when completely dry put a second coat of glue ...makes it very sturdy

Loved all three projects I make baskets but I sew zig zag the ropes together. I like waverly but I find especially the white is so thick I water it down I think I will try using white cord and paint it like you did. Beautiful guys.

Guys, these are AMAZING projects!!! You two continue to throw my mind and eyes into shock!!!! I'm loving the picture with the different colors and a great idea for an easy border/ frame. I like the basket idea and have about 10 of them to get creative with. The hoop and string project is beautiful and I adore it! I've noticed similar projects but I like this method. I have a lot of wall space to cover so I'd probably use the hula hoops in 2 different sizes to make the same and a smaller one as you guys made. I am in awe! Kat is the sweetest!!! I also watch her videos as well and she has an awesome personality! I love the bloopers! 😂 the only thing that pisses me off about this video is that YT did NOT notify me when it first came out so I'm watching two days later 😒 I have tons of the basket/rope looking items, thanks for giving me an idea for them all!! I'm all about you guys and I enjoy your channel so very much! Once again, GREAT job on these projects and sharing your creativity with us. I actually have a craft room/ office with a plethora of supplies but when I think of what to do with them.... Crickets chirping 😂😂😂 I don't have that instant creative mind unfortunately.
