I went to Uobei twice. The second time was July 2019 right after they finished refurbishment. The conveyor tray has been replaced with conveyor belts similar to Kura's express belts, which makes their service even faster since the kitchen no longer has to wait for the tray to return to fulfill the next order.

There's a cat cafe in San Diego, I visited it the last time I was down there. It wasn't as nice as the one you went to in Japan, but the cats were still super adorable, and they were all up for adoption too, so you *could* take them home! ^^
