This is impressive work and information, I don't have a 3D Resin Printer but seeing the passion you have for this hobby and how you share it with the community is a indication that you sir are truly a master and a teacher. Had to give you a heck of a Thumbs Up plus you got one more Sub. Happy Printing !

Great video, have you given any thought to doing a series showing how you build a print from start to finish? That way you could cover all the aspects of building & painting.

@@TheCreativeCollector That would be awesome to watch. You could do a weekly chapter from prep to final reveal. That way there more time to show specifics on each portion of the build. Thoughts?

Great content, thank you for your vids. I do have a concern though. What is the current information on dust from sanding resin printed models? Can it cause serious health problems? Should you wear a mask and do the sanding outside? Can the dust be especially harmful to children? Thanks for any light you can shed on these concerns. All the best.

Great video. Was looking for something like this. Keep up the great work. Do you have any video on: 1. how to place the supports? 2. Supports settings? 3. Any suggestions on how to print and get good gaps? My prints no matter what I do my gaps are bad and then I have to use fillers (tons of fuller). Your support are none damaging. Where can I buy that punisher file?
@TheCreativeCollector

Hey! I am thankful for your tips you have showed me, but how can I better apply primer to my models. I use a rattle can as well and right now I just lay the pieces of the model down on some cardboard and spray them with primer, but then I have to wait for it to dry to flip over and do the backside. Is there a better way I can apply the primer?
@TheCreativeCollector

What do you do when textured surfaces have obvious blemishes? Asking because I bought a resin 3d print which has a sequin-like pattern that has some blemishes on it.
@TheCreativeCollector
@TheCreativeCollector Жыл бұрын
A lot of times I use Aves Apoxy to sculpt the part if it needs it or I use my rotary tool to try and sand it after I fill it. It takes time, especially if it's a well detailed piece.
@BaianOfSteel
@BaianOfSteel Жыл бұрын
@TheCreativeCollector thanks! I guess another part of the solution would have been to buy a print on a larger scale, since I feel that the textured surfaces are too tiny for me to repair them by hand. Still, I'll give it a try, since I need the practice!

Stay away from wood filler. Water based,high shrink rate & adhesion issues long term. Get a good filler primer like upol or bondo. For heavier defects reduce bondo putty or upol putty with acetone & brush it on.

@TheCreativeCollector
@TheCreativeCollector Жыл бұрын
Primer allows to paint to grab onto the model plus it covers minor imperfections. If you paint with no primer, expect the paint to come off easy in some cases or the paint may bubble or just not stick to the model.
