Absolutely at, mate !!!!! Nightcrawler has always been one of my favourite X-men characters. I would love to see more of the lesser used characters, like Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Mystique, etc.

little trick I learned is to apply the liquid mask thick on area's where there is a lot of detail so it all peals off easier

I think that the blob looking piece that is part of the base with the spiky looking things coming out of it is supposed to represent the special effects cloud that forms when Night Crawler teleports in or out of a location.

Oh man that's a nice Nightcrawler Model, nice job too bro looks fantastic!. Thanks for taking the time to show & explain how/when you apply different products!. With the liquid mask in the fine details or crevases, try lightly dabing at it with some blu tack/ poster tac, as the blu tack should grab & stick to those small anoying bits & pull them off.
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'll try that next time. This was my first go at it. lol

Liquid latex must be layered on thick. Makes it easier to peel off. Still can be a pain though. You're awesome

Wow your paint job really does the sculpt justice. Would you recommend the liquid mask over simple painter’s tape?
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Its hard to say. I think the liquid mask would work better. I just have to work with it a little more. This was my first outing with it.

Great video, love the details on your process. I had the same problem with using liquid latex but the comment about using blutak is a great idea. Question: where do you buy those Aztek paints? I've searched and they seem hard to come by.
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support! The Aztek paints I got on clearance from Michaels a long time ago. I just now found a good use for them. The liquid latex is just something I need to get used to. I hate masking off something, so I figured this was an easier way to do it.

Awesome as always!! I was wondering, do you tend to stick with a grey primer for the figures most of the time? I have always used black but I don't know which one is better or for what applications
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
I use grey because it shows up details and flaws better to me. I can pick out where I need to sand more easily.
@willienelsoncash2 жыл бұрын
What do you use to seal the paints? Do you seal throughout the painting, or only at the end? thank you!!
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
I use a Krylon Color Maxx sealer at the end or whenever I paint a large piece and need to handle it. I seal it so I don't rub the paint off.
@jdhfngu2 жыл бұрын
How much does it cost you to print something like that?
