4:11 that's no spider. It's a type of arachnid called opiliones. Harvestmen "spider" or on of two arachnids called daddy long legs. The other daddy long legs is a real house/cellar spider.

There are several rockhounding clubs in Colorado that do field trips or have members that can suggest locations. Clubs often have access to areas closed to individuals. Search on Colorado rock clubs for one close enough that you can join them on trips.

Oh get out of colorado i dont want you to find my spot haha.i use those gloves that are resistant to knifes.they seem to last alot longer and keep you a little safer from sharp quartz.unbeleiveably the first smokey i found at this one spot was at least 50 pounds with other 12 inch double terminated points.the locals were very jealous.must have asked like 20 times where i was.i think theres stuff all over colorado really.just have to find that red slipery clay.follow the water.
