Why on earth did Carrie stay? She and Aidan just sat there while Che devalued, sexually humiliated and mocked Miranda's most vulnerable moments. Why didn't they walk out of that bar together? Viciously trashing your ex in public after amicable separation is a backstabbing move. Also, isn't it doxxing to reveal details about Miranda's family life in front of the audience? If you are an artist and want to incorporate a real person in your entertainment content, make them anonymized enough not to be recognized.

I seriously don't understand what the writers were going for with Che. In SATC each of the ladies had their faults and you didn't always like them, but they all had positive attributes, and the show itself was damn funny. Che on the other hand, I can't think of a single redeeming quality, and for a comedian they are desperately unfunny. I'm down with off colour humour that can be a bit close to the wire, but the whole stand up here was just cruel, stupid and without any self-deprecation or real punchline. Someone from the show (I forget who) said, rather patronizingly that the audience simply weren't ready for a character like Che, but I don't find that to be the case at all, Che was just a rude, obnoxious character, nothing more to it.
