Excellent curlBox interview! Courtney I just bought a bunch of product based off (1) this interview, (2) your functioning, well-designed website (appreciate the paypal integration), and (3) testimonials. Your business is a well-oiled machine. That gave me confidence to place my order. I'll be buying the flat iron bundle next!

I've always seen curlbox the subscription box ones and wanted to do it but due to where I live it would be a little financially impossible but with my upcoming visit to the USA I will definitely be giving it a chance and buying some of your mane choice products because I love the fact that you also use these and even though my hair grows pretty fast and healthy there's always room to better how I take care of my hair and I definitely want to support you cause you seem so amazing and nice.

Great interview but I don't agree with those who deep condition dry hair because the water helps the hair absorb the moisture and ingredients of the product.
@eleciastewart8 жыл бұрын
Maybe I'm guessing that if the first ingredient is water, then that makes a difference. I use to deep condition on dry hair until I was told to do it on wet hair after shampoo.
@PSALMSOFSONGS8 жыл бұрын
+Elecia Stewart Have you seen a difference since? Like what's better DC on wet or dry?
@eleciastewart8 жыл бұрын
+PSALMSOFSONGS when I dc'd on dry hair, I would always do it overnight. That was when I had shorter hair and it grew like crazy. When I started dc'ing on wet hair, it was in the shower, after my wash. To me, it is best after, as the dc leaves a coating on the hair shaft on purpose. So if you are co washing that day, then it doesn't matter if you do it before or after. If your hair hates shampoo, even if you need it, dc after the shampoo(prepooing before of course) is best. To really answer your question, it is best AFTER for my hair type(type 4 mostly). I like the added protection and don't use reg conditioner after a dc rinse out anyways. Plus I hate sleeping on squishy long hair now.
@eleciastewart8 жыл бұрын
+PSALMSOFSONGS oh sorry. The difference really came with me washing my hair more often and dc more often and with better products. Plus the way I maintain my hair between washes is better too. So I say yes I feel a difference but I also changed other things along with it. I don't like to waste product or deal with major tangles.

@jinwa20007 жыл бұрын
Kanesha Williams could you please share how the vitamins work for you. I just purchased 2 bottles for the first time.
@Nesha_MOA7 жыл бұрын
WONERFUL JOB they work very well for me I don't break out or anything because instead of taking two a day I take only one a day. So that not only lowers the amount of biotin a day that you are taking(which is the main cause of people breaking out) you also get two months use out of one bottle and your hair still grows fast. Just make sure that you drink a lot of water everyday especially after you take the pills and that will also aid in keeping your skin clear.
@jinwa20007 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips. ☺I know everyone will receive different results, however were you able to tell how much faster your hair grew with the vitamins verses without and did you wear protective styles to aid in length retention? And how many inches more did you gain if any extra? Of course you're not obligated to answer but I'd greatly appreciate any answers you are able to give. ☺
@Nesha_MOA7 жыл бұрын
WONERFUL JOB well on a good month and a half I would retain 1 full inch of growth and yes I do protective style and while I'm protective styling I use the inversion method and stimulate my hair under the braids by massaging it daily and use peppermint oil so this helps with growth. I big chopped in august and I started taking the vitamins in October so my hair has grown a lot. I usually leave my braids in for 6 weeks so that's when I would measure my hair and when I have my hair out it does not grow as fast it grows when protective styling it grows about how fast my hair used to grow while protective styling . Without the pills my hair already grew ok I guess like 1/2 an inch every 6 weeks with protective styling but once I big chopped I wanted to bounce back real quick lol.I cut basically all of my hair off when I big chopped so I have had around 10 inches of growth so far in these last 9 months ( hair was longer but I had to cut my raggedy ends a couple of times and I had a setback with moisture overload but it's better now) so with protective styling and stimulation you can get a lot of growth fast
@jinwa20007 жыл бұрын

Do I have to take the pills for my hair to grow Can I just use the product without taking the pills
@eleciastewart8 жыл бұрын
Your hair will grow on its own. The key is to keep your ends from falling off to see that growth. My hair is 18 inches long at the moment and natural and I don't take any vitamins.
@nightangel35788 жыл бұрын
Here's how pills work. If your body isn't that healthy and you're taking pills, the nutrients from the pills will go to where they're most needed first. If that's not your hair, then they won't go to your hair. So essentially pills are only an extra boost to hair growth. A lot of growth comes from external and internal health.
@PSALMSOFSONGS8 жыл бұрын
+Night Angel True indeed. I've always believed your hair can grow on its own if you take care of it (and yourself). Eating properly and drinking water would help.

I stopped using them because I was getting extreme nausea and dry heaving! Then I read through the ingredients and realized the vitamins are synthetic and synthetic vitamin a can cause major toxicity. It’s also the same cheap vitamins used in sugar filled cereals. I do like their products though, the ones without vegetable oil and glycerin
