Wayne, I’m a young female living in Canada. I had no idea who Gary was before I watched these two episodes, but I grew up listening to Beenie hence why I clicked. LET ME TELL YOU!!! These two episodes with Gary and Beenie were the best two hours of my week. Gary is an incredible storyteller and dropped some GOLDEN advice that people of all ages, nationalities and genders can benefit from. It was also so nice seeing and hearing this side of Beenie. They have such a great friendship as well - what a duo. Thank you so much for bringing this series to us.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I love this one, Gary I respect your views and appreciate you coming on the show. I always say that Beenie along with Bounty killer are living legends full stop. Reggae/Dancehall need to structure itself as an organisation and take control like any other genre, not as individuals but collectively. Build it and they will come. Wayne keep up the good work. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🔥🔥🔥

Afrobeats is Afrobeats… Dancehall is Dancehall. I listened to Chris Blackwell the other day the guy that launched Bob saying he equally had African acts under is label but the difference then was they didn’t sing in English or broken English. Now they are using English and broken English with original African beats that has caught the world .. They are now on top because dancehall got monotonous and they took advantage of that stage . Big up Beenie, big up the big financier and big up Wayne for such a concept that stands out . Lastly, most of this Afrobeats acts have a form of Education.

I agree with Beeni man. People are too lazy. Jamaica land of wood and water. Big strong man don’t want to work. I find it really hard to see man a beg. Back in the days you would never see a Jamaican man a beg. They can work or farm. Jamaican are known in a American as having more than one job. American don’t like us coming here working hard having house and a car. Because we work hard, everyone is not a drug dealer. We work very hard, through rain and snow. We can do it in Jamaica if you want.

I was alway hoping to link Beenie with this same vision. JA has just as much accounts as entertainers but the never seems to cross path..We never ck the bigger picture. Thanks Gary Peart..eye opening. Wayne, appreciate the link up.. plz make all guests link for a better JA. The entertainers she own entertainment facilities in even 7 parish. Way long time. It seems all they link for is floss..wi lack structure and it now proving from how the sector struggling..

Gary has a great point about the dance hall industry that could have spun from the platform of the 90s. Anything that even sounds like dance hall today should have to come to Jamaica and ask for permission. So iron clad would have been the copyright and rights surrounding the genre
