It's actually Mỹ Tho not Thọ, maybe a typo in the clip 😊 Thank you Uncle Doug for sharing this wonderful experience 😊

You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. With Vietnamese words and names, I sometimes make the effort to copy and paste directly from the Internet to get the diacritical marks right. But sometimes I'll just type it out with English letters. And I guess occasionally when I copy from the Internet, I copy and paste the wrong one. It's so easy to do since I don't know Vietnamese at all. 😁

I did this style tour 6 yesrs ago. Seems better organised now. You should post more 30 minutes video like this to get more views.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized the tour was. In my experience so far, the Vietnamese people have a talent for organization. I see it everywhere. And it seems this talent comes into play on these group tours. People in Vietnam pay attention to details and try to get things right, and I really appreciate that. It is a rare trait in my experience.

Yes, you're right. For some reason, she chose two names for her pet python. She used the name John for these tour groups. And then she would use the name Logan back at home.

The answer is John & Logan cc :) can't wait for part 2 :)

Yes, you are right. The python had two names for some reason: John when he is out in public & Logan back at home.

Yes, for some reason she gave her pet python two names. She seemed to call him John during the tour. But then she said she called him Logan at home.

Looka like u need to extend ur stay for another 3 months

That is quite true. For one thing, I need a lot of time to simply edit and upload the video I've already shot in Saigon. I guess I went a bit overboard with taking video, as I often do. 😁 I'm not even going to be able to scratch the surface in Vietnam within the 90 days. I think it is a given that I will want to come back right away, hopefully on another 90-day visa. That's what I'm thinking about right now. My current visa expires at the end of July, and that is coming up fast. So I'm thinking about returning to Malaysia for a week or two, and using that time to get organized for returning to Vietnam.

Now that I think about it, maybe you're right. Did she actually say Sean? I thought she said John and Logan. But John could sound an awful lot like Sean depending on the accent.

Boring tour.

I didn't find it boring at all. I enjoyed myself quite a bit. The guide was informative and he worked very hard to make our day enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we went smoothly from place to place on a variety of different boats plus a type of tuk tuk. Just the boat rides were enough to make the experience enjoyable for me. And on top of that, we had a good lunch and interesting experiences with the pythons, the honey bees, the musical performance, the coconut candy center with snake wine, feeding crocodiles, feeding catfish, plus a beautiful and historic pagoda and the company of a group of friendly people from all around the world. I enjoyed myself from beginning to end. 👍😎

Is there a different website page for applying 90 days evisa or a same website page through we used to apply for 30 days evisa earlier ? I believe Vietnam immigration officials launched different website page for the 90 days evisa. Can you help sir ?

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I've been busier than normal. But I don't really know if there is a new website for the 90-day visa. This is my first visit to Vietnam in many years, so I never applied for a 30-day visa in the past. I've only gotten this one 90-day visa, so I don't know anything about older systems. Sorry. 🙏

Placing the Rode on the confident snake lady was a brilliant move my friend. So far Part 1 looks like a great start to the tour and well paced too in my opinion.

It did work out well. Originally, I thought our tour guide, Huy, would be speaking, so I asked him if he would mind having a microphone on him. But he said he would not be saying anything, and he offered to assist me in asking the woman at the snake farm to attach a microphone. And I'm glad I did it. I wish now that I had taken the time to transcribe what she said. It's not easy to understand her and her stories. But transcribing that speech would have taken a great deal of time. As you know, I did transcribe the tour guide's presentations on the Cu Chi Tunnels tour, and that was a very long and painstaking process.
