That remind me my bicycle trip in vietnam during winter 2023 , nice town , easy to live , lot of hotel and restaurants We've stayed at "FIT HOTEL" in the same neighboroud than yours I think that the floating market is a trap tourist , when I saw it from the bank , there was just foreigners on the boats

The Victoria Mekong boat, I checked their website after you shared with me the photo when you were at Can Tho... very interesting and enticing river cruise all the way to Phnom Penh but super costly as well in USD.

You can also go from Chau Doc, and stay one night in Victoria Hotel which is on the Riverboat Dock of the Three Rivers, One Minute to Board boat in morning to Phnom Penh, its a Gr8t Trip!
