Much of it came from 'Reading, Writing, and Reefer' - a 1970s documentary about cannabis culture. Unfortunately I have lost the animated film and cannot remember the title. I found everything here on archive.org

Hey Phil, thank you kindly sir. Yeah I totally agree about tempos - for eg: all three Edward tunes here have been slowed (if not always pitched) down. It can make you hear them in a quite different way. Regarding the visuals it usually starts with some intriguing old footage from somewhere or other, and then I edit/match/process/destroy it to fit the mood of the music
