@@cnzhk5925 It's illegal now to run for a third term but it wasn't before in history. The 22nd Amendment standardized the limit for a presidency to two terms max. The only one in history to last more than two terms (FOUR!) was FDR and with that time he was able to pull off the New Deal while also fighting a major World War! So maybe there shouldn't be a requirement, but the limitation likely aims to reduce the risk of the country relying solely on that one leader, no matter how effective. When one person is allowed to stay in and build up power and trust, it increases the risk of a cult of personality or dictatorship, or just the populace no longer voting or participating in democracy.

Personally, I think it's important to stay shape and a walk (which is what golf mostly is) helps clear one's thoughts.
