Worked in retail for 11 years and when the lady that stocked the books would put new paper books out she would take the old ones to the compactor and tear the covers off them and throw them into the compactor - I asked her why ( and could they be donated or ? ) she said it was about copyright laws or something like that - not sure about the hard back books . I agree books should be donated or ? Or at least recycled .

I agree. I was raised in that you never waste anything. Books especially can be used for years. Why not donate to a school or Dolly Pardons literacy charity!!

DON’T Break the glass off candles; FREEZE them then tap upside down and they fall right out!

Well said, that's what we do and we remelt them if there broke so many ideas with candles

Great Tip..using the same principle, I put my candle holders that get melted wax all over into the freezer. When the candles have burned down and ready to put in a new candle, put the holders in the freezer and when you remove them out of the freezer, the melted wax will come off very easily.

How do you connect the wires back on to the flat irons or other electrical item. I’ve seen a lot of videos where these items are said to be repairable after the wire has been cut. Thanks for the videos. I just started dumpster diving you guys inspired me to give a try.

If somebody has been there at Ulta, they woudn’t spill all those foundation. They’d keep it. Plus you wouldn’t find those irons. I think the employees did that mess. I love your finds by the way. And I’m glad to know you also donate some of your finds. 😊 Love divers who share, I’m an instant subbie!
