Totally LOVE DAKA 933! They made my mornings alive, positive, energetic! Yes agree everyone is replaceable & no one is indispensable. But where you are at that moment changes lives, makes impact & be there it's all that matter. So Jeff, Ning, Mei Gui all of you make a difference to many of us even you only do what you just monotonous do daily. ❤❤❤

I have an army friend who kept on coming to me to ask me for love advice when he was single. But when he got married, he didn't bother to invite me to his wedding. I'm cool with that. And when he got kid, I tried to get him to come out for a meal as I am a busy family man too, but I thought if I don't make the effort to arrange for meeting, no one will. But this fellow rejected once, twice, and I decided to stop contact. And the next thing you know, he offered to turn up in my next meeting with others. Lesson learnt- don't waste time on those who don't deserve it.

I am 35. Married with two kids. And it's really true that friends do come and go. Even those best BFF that can literally talk cock sing song with you suddenly start ghosting you. Many are focusing on their careers and starting families. As for me, what Jared said is true. Everyday's routine is always Wake up, Start work, End work, go home, do chores, cuddle with wife, play some games and sleep. It's a life cycle for me since 30 till now.
@ksy61778 ай бұрын
Actually if you think about it, pre 30 is also the same story. Before work. Study play sleep. Play games watch movie same entertainment go overseas Isn't it all the same if you think about it haha. Unless you keep travelling for work then u get to see different places

Everytime this topic comes up, I'll emphasis again. The way to teach mother tongue to children is to speak mother tongue at home. Children will pick up english on their own from school, friends and media they consume. So there is really no need to teach them english growing up. But not mother tongue languages since it isn't everywhere. Using chinese as example, it is one of the most complex languages in the world. Don't expect a child to want to pick up the language on their own. Or expect that 1 to 2 hours a day lessons would be sufficient. It's proven for decades that it isn't. I strongly urge all parents to really consider this. And if your family is up to it, and 3 generations are living together, have the grandparents speak to child in dialect from when they are toddlers. There are only benefits to knowing more languages. All the best to viewers in your quest of parenthood ❤
@RavenCloudNine8 ай бұрын
And it is never too late to learn any new language! It's tougher when we get older because the brain is already fully formed, but it is still very much doable. Benefit of learning as an adult is that we have specific reasons as motivations. Different from a child, where they pick up simply through immersion.

Very true, I'm starting to see possibilities that I don't see when i was in my 20s. But in early 30s ppl start to trust me more. Guess age and maturity does play a part

I think it shouldn’t be understated that Singaporean adults still live with their parents up to middle-age. The implications I feel are that many of us are sheltered and frankly quite immature.
