Here’s PROOF from the verse you mentioned (4:24) ‎وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَن تَبْتَغُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُم مُّحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ فَمَا اسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا تَرَاضَيْتُم بِهِ مِن بَعْدِ الْفَرِيضَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا “And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, so that ye seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock, not debauchery. And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their portions as a duty. And there is no sin for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty (hath been done). Lo! Allah is ever Knower, Wise.” Do you know what “debauchery” means? You CANNOT rape your slaves. Slave is prohibited gradually not immediately during the 7th century. Slavery was widespread not just in Makkah but the WHOLE entire world especially during the 7th Century. Islam completely abolished and prohibits slavery gradually and so does the WHOLE world. If you want the complete Syariah LAW, don’t just read ONE verse of the Quran. Making the Syariah Law requires MORE than just Quran, it needs another source which is the Authentic Hadiths. If you FURTHER read the Quran not just ONE verse. In (24:32) you have to marry the SLAVE. Not rape them whenever they want but MARRIAGE is an important part in Islam in order to have sexual relations. Proof is in the verse. ‎وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ “And marry such of you as are solitary and the pious of your slaves and maid-servants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Aware.” Also (24:33) ‎وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا وَآتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِن بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ “And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till Allah give them independence by His grace. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of Allah which He hath bestowed upon you. Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.” RAPING is not encouraged in Islam at all. The only way to get sexual relations is by CONSENT through marriage. (16:71) ‎وَاللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الرِّزْقِ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا بِرَادِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ “And Allah hath favoured some of you above others in provision. Now those who are more favoured will by no means hand over their provision to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Is it then the grace of Allah that they deny?” (90:13) just read this WHOLE chapter it is short, only 20 verses. ‎فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ “(It is) to free a slave,” Even those who are enslaved, Allah said to respect them as equals. There’s many verses that encourage people to free slaves not MAKE slaves. You CANNOT find verses to ENCOURAGE slaves but only to treat them right and equal and it is BETTER to let them be FREE. Slavery has been ABOLISH already in the 21st century, so the text that mentions ONLY “slavery” in the Quran is NO longer RELEVANT in our modern times. Conveniently this is something you AND the extremists ignore, and this example further enforces the point that religious illiteracy is a ROOT cause of extremism and Ignorance in Islamic teachings. Islamic texts do not promote rape and do not encourage slavery. NEXT TIME READ THE WHOLE QURAN TO UNDERSTAND ISLAM. Not read just ONE VERSE, READ the WHOLE book!
