Sunni historians have reported that when Umar came to the door of the house of Lady Fatima, he said by Allah i shall burn down the house over you unless you come out and swear allegiance to Abu Bakr. No respect shown here to the daughter of the Holy Prophet. Clearly he forgot his own allegiance to Imam Ali at Ghadeer when the Holy Prophet named him his successor. And congratulated him on this .

@maryam: You mean the pen & paper incident? 1) Allah has completed the deen before the Prophet became ill. What's there to write? 2) Paper was not invented at that time. How could he have mentioned about paper? 3) Prophet's words are sufficient. No need to write a will, as the Prophet was poor. Prophet's leave their belongings to the Baitul Mal. 4) Prophet most probably would not bequeath anything to his family. When Fatima asked for a helper among the war captives, Prophet told her to be patient. Do you think our Prophet wanted to write a will? 🤲🕌
