Refreshing to have a Press Secretary that speaks in complete, clear, sentences and not filled with "ummm's" and "uhhhh's".

27:14 and I now completely understand what Nick Frietas meant when he described govt orgs acting with "malicious compliance" with regard to the DEI order.

idk where no tax on tips comes from. Tips depend on the tiper it could be 1$ or 1000$ there is no actual work that justifies it. It is subjective to the tipper. On the other hand no tax on overtime should be honored because its time worked especially for blue collar workers who don't want to work the overtime and they are forced to do so.

Why is the FAA getting flack for this? The controller did everything in his power to prevent this accident. This was a failure to follow the correct flightpath on the part of the military aircraft. PERIOD! While our public air transportation infrastructure could use all the help it can get, it was NOT the cause of this accident.

@@6000Chipmunks I think it's part politics, part spillover from their past bad practices, and part "we at least gotta hold someone responsible". The last part is sadly normal and very human.

@@6000Chipmunks Mostly this. BUT Trump has repeatedly stated that he wasn't assigning blame to individuals until He had the answers. Specifically stated he doesn't think the pilots nor air traffic controller is to blame. Pointedly repeated that the helicopter should not have been in a many years long established flight path. Now Karoline reports that the Copter was too high. We don't have the answers, but I believe that we can see where this is going. God bless.

Why only 10% tariff for china and 25% for others? Is it to not open too many "fronts" at once and get mexico and canada to cave first rather than making demands of every country at once and risking a waterfall effect when multiple refuse and retaliate?
@ocheonuh6788
@ocheonuh6788 6 күн бұрын
If I understand, it's not "every country", just 3. I don't think that constitutes a "waterfall effect." But if there is a risk of that, I suspect it would come from China itself (and its overwhelming influence on the world compared to the other 2) hence why the 10% would make more sense.
@RiqMoran

@ im just trying to grapple with the seemingly soft on china stance but tough on allies. I think Trump is focusing on the battles he can win quickly before tackling the tug of war that will no doubt take a lot longer.

@@RiqMoran China provides us with things hard to obtain otherwise geo-politically speaking. For example: google AI informs me: China is the world's leading producer of tungsten, supplying about 83% of the world's tungsten concentrate. Other major producers include Vietnam, Russia, Bolivia, and Canada. Now China and Russia: China is the world's largest producer of tungsten, accounting for over 80% of global production, while Russia is a significant producer. Together, China and Russia produce about 90% of the world's tungsten: according to google AI. Not to mention all the tech products, maybe even some related to national defense. Trump is a practical man, an effectual man. But even Trump with all the presidents horses and all the presidents needs time to put poor old Humpty Dumpty together again. He's still restoring healthy relations with Russia. I don't know if it's still true, but at one time the US defense department's contractors had agreements with Chinese tech companies for missile guidance circuits among other things. How stupid does that seem to be? 'I know! let's have our enemy provide some of the most important bits for our national defense!! God bless.

Borders - China ships it, but Canada & Mexico let it through their borders. The idea is to push their neighbours to be tougher on their practices to prevent traffic.
