This is pretty cool to this popped up on my Feed. I remember when this movie was filmed. I lived in the same exact neighborhood I was 23 years old. We were living in my ex-wife's mother-in-law Cottage in the backyard. And some guys came up and knock on our door. Said they were Scouting For movie location stuff. For a movie called The Sandlot. And they asked us because we had the perfect amount of yard with a canopy of trees over it. If they can set up their catering there for two weeks while they shot at the baseball field in our neighbor Hood. They would be there from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. every day and the let us have a meal and give us $100 a day. I will say it was a nice $1,400 bonus. But the Mother-in-law could not figure out why her thriving grass was being trampled everyday. so yeah then we waited for the movie to come out. It's so crazy what Hollywood can do when they cut and chop because it did not look like our neighborhood at all you are a very astute detective to pick all this stuff out. anyway I thought this was a cool Vlog I just wanted to comment on my experience.

It's amazing how far each location was and in the movie they made it feel like it was in the same city.. Crazy!! Adam you are the great bambino of KZbin lol

Hey Adam, one thing I thought to suggest when doing the shots back to the movie would be to show the location as you stand now, cut to the movie scene for a seconds, and then cut back to the spot once again. I find myself rewinding back to double check the area a little bit. Sometimes more than once. I think doing a cut in, cut out, cut back in, could let viewers digest the comparison a little bit. Just an idea!
@karenlindsey59888 жыл бұрын
I completely agree! I was thinking that myself.
@ninjamaster34538 жыл бұрын
I agree a shot of the film again would help but I'm sure he's overworked as it is being a one man job.
@larrysbk8 жыл бұрын
I think he's editing on the iPhone, so that would be a lot of work fussy work to use clips instead of stills. I'm impressed he's been able to insert the stills and drone footage with dissolves in and out. Thats a fair bit of work in itself.
@HkSniper8 жыл бұрын
Really, you're going to get all passive aggressive on this? It's as simple as a couple extra seconds of editing. Have a still shot of the scene as it is today. A still shot of the scene during the film. Back to the still shot of the scene today. It's not that difficult. Amazing how you can just pass off a simple little suggestion to someone and someone else has to come and try to step all over it.
@HkSniper8 жыл бұрын
And no cost required. Just literally a few seconds of extra time in editing. Easily done with whatever editing software is being completed. But then again, I should have no need to explain it to you. It was an idea. A suggestion. Not a demand. Stow the attitude.

Just to clarify, those were parachutists, not hang gliders, at the airport. The plane is the one that dropped them, and gets down as fast as he can to pick up another load of skydivers. Very common occurrence. Now, if you have ever seen the movie, They Went Thataway and Thataway, with Tim Conway, and want to see the opening scenes were shot, go to Powder Springs, Ga, just northwest of Atlanta. Anyway, keep up the great work. You are the only vlog I watch everyday.

No, he actually panned the coffee because it wasn't as good as Krispy Kreme coffee, it was the donuts he praised.

I was not trolling you. You said he liked the coffee , I was just informing you that he clearly didn't like it because he said it wasn't as good as Krispy Kreme's coffee.

It’s Salt Lake City , half the people think it’s immoral to drink coffee that’s why it’s a bitch to find .

I love how you show the movie scenes when you're explaining the spots to refresh our memory of nostalgia, you're better than all the other three other people who make videos like these 👍👏💜 also you're hard work finding the hard to find /difficult spots even when Majestic is needed

This is another fascinating adventure, and I'm amazed by the details you've stirred up and pinpointed. And when the grumpy old man doesn't want you on his property, the drone rocks! I love it!
