Thank you for bringing us on your trip down memory lane! I grew up in an itty bitty town as well. (Dunlap, TN) The nostalgic feelings you're having in Euphola are the same I get when I visit Dunlap. A lot of my favorite places are also long gone unfortunately. When we move away our memories preserve our little town as they were when we left and it's always bittersweet to see what time does to them after we've gone. Great Memories Mr. the Woo! Xo-K 💖

:::Robert::: As soon as you started filming Main St it got me thinking about my small town I lived in when I was a child. First thing that popped in my head was the merry go round at the park that I used to play on for hours. Usually reenacting the scene from Short Circuit 2 when Johnny 5 spins the burglars around then throws them out of the warehouse. Then you showed your merry go round and the fun you had on it and I almost lost it. Thank you so much for bringing us on this journey, Adam. Helped remind me of the best days of my childhood.

Great v blog. You look good with your hair's cut. And by the way you want to check your tires, in the video at around 19:40, it sounds like there may be a knot in one of your tire, maybe not could be the road but just to be safe it may be a good idea to check.

Probably need to rotate and balance, or a bearing (they should of be replaced repacked before 100k). Or a rock, or the road. I don't trust Walmart to work on cars. When I worked at Walmart, TLE guys didn't give a shit and wrecked peoples cars, then Walmart told the customers go get bent lol. The TLE used a impact to put the lugs back on and it cross threaded the studs and $200 bucks for a new hub, took all the day but Walmart paid. They change the oil but not the filter. Never use FRAM filters. Filters I use and suggest are Napa Gold, they're made by WIX, they have a anti drain check valve. His fuel filter should be changed, the ATF needs to be checked and made sure its not burned, the differential fluid need to be changed, radiator flushed new fluid (every 3-4 years), that's what I think that has not been done by watching :) Any other car nuts watching? Ford Heater cores go like crazy and I believe just like my truck you would have to drop the dash. My 2nd one began leaking and I just bypassed it. No heat now. But I'm in WAY SoCal :) Oh Ford wants about $3,500ish for it. Book says R&R is 9.5hours x $160/hr + $120 for part.

Sounds like he should come to your area and have his van checked out :P If he has the 5.4 engine in that thing, the spark plugs should be checked to make sure they are still tight. Many 5.4's had spark plugs blow out of the cylinder head because there were not enough threads in the cylinder head. Ford's own spark plug ejection system you could call it..
@ironcross4208 жыл бұрын
edm To Adam that van means everything. Now I don't know if he can just write it off and is able to buy a new van right away. As a mechanic I would want Adam to take care of the van and if I were to work on it I would do it the right way. I guess I could see if see his license plate and run it via CarFax and see if there is any service history reported. (If you take it to a good shop odds they report, I know Ford Dealers do). Now there is the Ford tech maintenance by mileage. I believe he is around 175k. ***** if you do read this, take a few mins and go through it and check it off whats been done, save it and keep it : www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/09frdmg2e.pdf Hope I got the year right, I couldn't remember if it was a 06 or 09... As major fluids should of been changed. Be careful changing the Transmission fluid. If the fluid still red/pink, doesnt stink, look burned, your better off reusing the fluid but change the filter. As it may cause slipping and need the clutch packs replaced... The rear differential needs to be changed. I would do a radiator flush. You should change the coolant every 2-4 years as begins the process of electrolysis and eats away at the metal. The door is always open if you have any car questions. Maintenance is key, saves fuel, more woo :) Spark Plugs with wires you got to do both if your doing it. I know you're a if it's not broken why fix it kind of guy. It's like if you're running conventional oil, I highly recommend NOT switching to synthetic. As you may have a bunch of oil leaks when you did not have any at all. As synthetic is thinner, slippery, etc and get's through smallest of leaks vs conventional oil. We're here for you Adam. At 150,000 miles Change engine oil and replace oil filter ❑ Change Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant (see Exceptions on page 48 and Premium Gold Coolant Change Record on page 49) ❑ Change automatic transmission fluid ❑ Replace automatic transmission fluid filter (except 6F50, AWF-21 and FNR5 transaxles) ❑ Change manual transmission fluid ❑ Replace rear axle lubricant on all rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicles (see pages 42 and 48). ❑ Replace climate-controlled seat filter (if equipped) ❑ Replace engine air filter (except Focus with PZEV engine) ❑ Replace cabin air filter (if equipped) ❑ Replace fuel filter (Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Town Car and Mustang) ❑ Replace drive belt(s) if not replaced in the last 100,000 miles (160,000 km) ❑ Inspect and lubricate steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie rod ends, driveshaft and U-joints (lubricate if equipped with Zerk fittings) ❑ Inspect engine cooling system and hoses ❑ Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses and parking brake system. ❑ Inspect half shaft boots (if equipped) ❑ Inspect exhaust system and heat shields ❑ Rotate tires, inspect tires for wear and measure tread depth ❑ Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness, or drag ❑ Perform multi-point inspection (recommended)

I missed this video the past couple weeks, because my wife and I were back with our kids in our little old hometown in Missouri. I can't thank you enough for this video Adam. I have so many similar memories of growing up in a small, hot and humid, small mid-western town. I'm lucky that my wife is from the same town, and we drive our kids nuts basically tour-guiding them around and down our memory lane just like you did here. I'm not sure there could have been a better or more American way to grow up!
