Wow. I remember that old mall. The '80's and '90's was the "Outlet Mall Craze" and Pigeon Forge was trying to position itself as a Mecca for those types of shopping centers. There are still a few nice ones left down there but not as many as when we took our first trip back in '93. We bought our daughter a Big Wheel in there. I think that tower is supposed to resemble the "Sun Sphere" in Knoxville they built for the '82 World's Fair. The mall may have been built around that time. Pigeon Forge got a lot of the World's Fair spillover lodging. That was what really jump-started them into the tourist destination they are today. One more comment: 9:58 A few years ago we stayed at a motel next door to "that thing". We came out one morning to find people stuck at the top for about three hours.

The Lost Treasure Mini Golf used to be the location of my favorite theme park, "Magic World". It closed in 1994 and some of the buildings (Like the Haunted Castle ride and Arabian Nights ride) were still standing for awhile, until they made it into the mini golf place. The fake volcanic mountain is still there. That's what the blue water is coming out of. You could find pictures of the park and it's brochures online.

Looked really fun. I've done a zip line that you'd probably love to try out. Doe River Gorge in Tennessee. The park has one that comes down 700' off the side of a mountain. You do a "splash landing" in a man-made pond. Done it several times over 2 visits. Park also includes a train.

Belz was a nice mall, even in the 90s I went there to get Chuck Taylor's. For the past few years it was just Burkes and Coleman outlets... and Coleman moved to the next block. Prof Hackers is the former site of Magic World. At 7:55, the empty field left of the track was Adventure Golf.

At that golf course that had the bluest water ever, used to be a small theme park called Magic World and it had the most silliest rides ever. It even had a walk through dinosaur park with creepy statues. You would have loved it.
@mysteriousyoungman8 жыл бұрын
I remember going to that car museum as a kid. There were several cars owned by famous people inside including a Nudie Mobile with a silver dollar covered interior and revolvers for door handles. The Lost Golf is on the site of "Magic World". Visited once as a kid and I distinctly remember the two dark rides there were almost beat for beat rip offs of Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion. If you look on Google Earth and look back at the grainy b/w pictures from the early 90's you can see when it was Magic World. Compare it with the most recent pics and you can see there are still outlines of paths from those days behind the golf course.

Pegasus,, is one of the best known creatures in Greek mythology. He is a winged divine stallion also known as a horse usually depicted as pure white in color. The unicorn is a legendary creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead.
