@rebel446610 ай бұрын
I have one made with a similar technique right now in my land snail enclosure. They seem to like it. Have been climbing around all over the thing. But I would release the background and glue it back in using some silicone in the back, if your snails are big. The foam doesn't stick extremely well to glass. Especially if you add stones or heavy wood to the background, an adult snail could have enough weight to cause problems. Better safe than sorry and all that.

absolutely gorgeous tarantulas. I'm new to your channel and will continue to come back and watch and learn more from you. I am new to the hobby (1 year or so) and myself and my significant other have 21 beautiful tarantulas in which I adore. I love them more and more everyday and seeing the difference in personality from each one fascinates me. I love the select few that I do get to handle without fear of being bit, which would be my Chaco Golden Knee "Teddy" (still trying to learn scientific names) and Caribena Versicolor "Harlow". I love your videos and keep up the posting and I hope I will get to talk to you later on another video.

Of the few NW T's that i have, my favourite (always has been, always will be) is my female G. pulchra. She was my first Tarantula i ever purchased. She is the most spectacular, and pretty, when she has freshly moulted. She is very gentle, even though i very rarely handle her (or any of my T's) she has never even flicked hairs, let alone gave a threat pose or attemted to strike at me. I have had her for 4 years now. I bought her un-sexed, but luckily she was a female, and she was around 2.5 inches when i got her, and now probably double that size. Although still not fully grown yet, her periods between her moulting have gotten further apart. If i ever had to downsize, or get rid of my collection all-together, i couldnt, or wouldnt part with her. She is too valluable to me, and i dont mean valluable financially, even though she probably is worth a few quid. You very rarely hear of an adult female, G.pulchra for sale anywhere, you normally have to buy them from spiderling or atleast a small juvenile, and they take years to grow. I estimate mine to be around 6 years old, and she is far from fully grown yet. 😊

Any advice for owning fast tarantulas? i just got one at a reptile show. (hes an obt)
@gutz32310 ай бұрын
Be careful! That is the main bit of advice, especially if you are not experienced with fast old world T's, the speed can catch you out if you get your fingers too close, and trust me, it hurts like hell if you get tagged (so i have been told). If you do have some experience with other T's, OBT's are pretty bullit proof, just keep them fairly dry, with just a water dish, not too damp with the substrate, which will need to have enough for them to dig, even though the like to climb and byild their nest above ground, give them the oportunity to do both. I think different forms of the OBT have slightly different preferences, and their behaviour (as in their preference of nest building and where they build it) changes as they grow bigger. Also if it is your first T, I would advise you to trade it for something slower and less defensive, (unless you really do have your heart on owning this particular species) only because it may put you off keeping T's, because the last thing you want is to be, is frightened of your pet. I can't tell you how to suck eggs, but I certainly wouldn't recommend any inexperienced T keeper into owning an OBT, or nearly any old-world T for that matter. Good luck anyway.

any grammostola, tliltocatl or brachypelma
@gutz32310 ай бұрын
You can't go wrong with a Grammostola. The only downside is, you very rarely can find an adult one, and if you buy a spiderling, it literally takes years until it looks anything like the T's that are in this video. I bet both of these are atleast 5 or 6 years old, maybe more. And they probably aren't even fully grown yet.

Hi Petko! Thank you for all you do, I love how you build things! One odd thing I'd like to point out though. Why do you feel the need to basically call your euro-based enclosures trash just to hype up your t-crib collaboration? When you say "They are so much better than mine" you essentially talk shit about your european manufacturer. You are better and smarter than that and speaking as an american I would rather buy yours and not have to pay 10 bucks extra just for the t-crib name! Much love ♥
