What’s crazy is that Doflamingo is such a monster, the next major antagonist Luffy faced off with and defeated, was a man named Katakuri, that guy is one of the most respected antagonist cause he is a man who protects his family genuinely, despite several of them treating him like shit, and he fights his battles with honor, he was so liked by the community people wanted him to join the crew. One piece has the most despicable characters and the most incredibly kind characters.

The reason law wasn't really dying is of course plot and his devil fruit, and the guy that shot in the head point blank wasn't law, law just put a random dude ( who probably was already dead) in his place
