What puts the Chili Peppers apart from most other groups that famous is - they still hav fun doing it. Thats what their fans love them for apart from the music.

Thank you for reacting David!!! This to me is the best version of this song because of the energy and 2 jams, but the Slane castle version has the same amount of energy as this does and has an ending jam also. Thanks again!

I can't fkn' wait, man! I never seen in my life my absolutely greatest guitar idol/hero and a musical genius John Frusciante. In 2007 I missed a big chance of see these guys @ Chorzow, Poland what I really really regret cuz' after that John left and I know he's never will be rejoin again and I'm so happy now; They're never go to @ Hungary and my time is come! 😎 So I'm really real fookin' excited that I wanna see finally John @ my hometown, Budapest!!! I hope that night would be a long nice jam, dude...I love this 3 guys when they're playing together! What a chemistry🤯 🌶️+JF🎸= 🔥💯 And you Flea Fans? What are you thinkin ' bout the new album, the two songs and/or John's back again? Peace out, all the best! ✌🏻💜

Hi, David. The intro is a little cover of "You Are Gonna Get Yours", a song by Public Enemy. They have slowed down the tempo of "Give It Away" since the first Frusciante's return to the band in 1998. Maybe it was for keeping exciting a song that they have played A LOT. As always, great review. Greetings!

Yup they’ve played it around 918x soo they got to switch it up 👍

I like the slow down, it adds up something to the grove

The intro is You Gonna Get Yours by Public Enemy. They use it alot. They always open and close their shows with a jam. I love it.

The more chili peppers videos you watch, your gonna start realizing that they improvise all the time, that’s why they are the “jam band” most of their intro and Outro jams are improvised and that’s what makes them special
@ianfranks5413 жыл бұрын
They do put on a great show. And flea is a machine on his bass. RHCP reminds me of papa roach. I never really was a fan of either UNTIL I saw them both live. The live performance both bands show are just incredible.

A little Spinal Tap Mark 2 A Jazz Odyssey at the end there. Were we witnessing a rebirth? I'm saying this as an owner of all their albums up to Californication.

To be honest, Flea and Frusciante alone could kick it and keep the crowd entertained.

They definitely take liberties with their songs, I guess when you have been playing them for so long, and on long tours... you have to keep it interesting.. Sometimes they hit and sometimes they dont but I love it. Much different contrast to bands like say... Babymetal, who rarely take any liberties with their songs (but still put everything into it.) Oh actually, did you know RHCP had Babymetal as their openers? They even played Gimmie Chocolate together (Flea, Chad, and John's replacement Josh), The guys where in full Kami gear and everything. Chad also performed some Judas Priest songs with Babymetal.

To my musical knowledge, the tempo difference between the intro and the song wasn't that bad to point it, but it was enough to notice though. I think its fine, but each individual has an opinion and I respect it

Already done. Germany, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Spain, France....all stadiums and arenas 20,000+ in the crowd. Biggest crowd was 107,000+ in Austin, TX co-headlining with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Anything else?

You can become a Silver Tier member, and you can get 1 request prioritized to the front of the que. Silver Tier is $100.00 per month. Or you can become a Gold Tier member, and get 3 requests prioritized every month for $200.00 per month. So you get 3 prioritized requests for the price of 2. Totally up to you, I'm not asking you to join anything, I'm just providing information and showing you the options available.

David, how would you feel about doing a review of a 33 minute, mostly acoustic, John Frusciante album?

That would be too long for the channel. It would end up turning into a 90 minute video probably.

I'm saying 8.3, but maybe higher. Great concert closer for sure! Band energy is high for a closer. Oh wait, if it's only for execution of the song, I'll go with 8.5 for the energy.Yeah, crowd is hype. 8.5 for sure. Hopefully you know it's the end of the show. Perfect ending! If i was at a concert and it ended like this, I will be so satisfied!!!! I was off. But I stick with 8.5. That's about as good as it gets for energy.

@mauricefricke62362 жыл бұрын
I don't like their live performances. Kiedis' voice mostly sucks and they play around too much to the point where the performance has absolutely nothing to do with the actual song anymore and they drift off to some random jam session.
