The tightening was too aggressive to begin with. The rate hikes have broken an already fragile economy that would have worked out the inflation in the free market. The Fed chose to spark inflation buy napalming the public with stimulus right when the global supply chain was broken and production of good and service basically did not exist during Covid. It was gasoline on the perfect firestorm. Then, instead of letting the inflation work itself out… we hiked rates thousands of times higher than they were in the most massive pounding the Fed has ever given an economy. They chose to break the inflation they created over the backs of the middle class. Now they’re providing a little relief and everyone is acting like it’s going to bring back Covid level inflation and end the world..... Anyone feeling the impact of these economic shifts should consider Crypto long-term trading strategies to protect their assets. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 520k from day trading with Sandy Barclays in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

If the market has taught me anything, it's that it always recovers, but I can't seem to focus on the long run, when major factors like my retirement and my reserve are wreaking havoc on inflation. I require a solid data trajectory and solution as soon as possible.

The fed did not do their job. Rate should have been raised instead of lowered. That's the only way to fight inflation. I should know I was on the front lines. When Volcker was the fed boss . I was kind of lucky when I bought my home and got an 11 3/4% fixed rate for twelve years. Made money on it as well after 1 1/2 years. Interest rate went up to 15% on T-Bills as well. Price controls DON'T WORK either. Too much GRAFT +CORRUPTION in D.C. to adress issue though. Not enough REAL POLITICIANS who give a d.a.m.n. about our country.

@@crap8011 That makes more sense. The key is understanding (or learning) what motivated the money to move to the sidelines. What would have to happen now to create that state of fear (IMO, certainly more than slowing earnings)? It can happen, but home lending was (even in my eyes) in 2007 a wide-spread scam. Is there such an equivalent today, and if so what is enabling it? What will be impacted by its unwinding? At the moment, I do not see anything as wide-spread and as systemic as housing in 2007 (even given AI's analogy to Cisco).

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. Nevertheless, seeking guidance from an investment planner might be necessary if you desire a more assertive return.

And the times he mentioned that the stock market didn’t drop after a Fed cut cycle the shiller pe was at a reasonable level. Good, even, in 1982.

The Fed's talk of interest rate cut leaves me pondering what stocks to buy now and when do I sell? I'm unsure how to properly allocate my money to achieve an optimal portfolio in this present economy, my goal is $3m for retirement.

No doubt, getting proper financial advice is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and just yielded 120% from early last year. I and my advisor are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year.

I’ve been considering getting one, but haven't been proactive about it. Can you recommend your advisor? I could really use some assistance.
