All those millions of people will have to be detained & processed, considee that currently there are 1.8m people in jails across the US & those jails are already pretty much maxed out. During Katrina our Democratic Governor, Kathleen Blanco, was offered by George Bush The National Guard. Everyone wondered why she didn’t respond right away. I didn’t know what her reason was but I knew she had a good reason to wait and see and think about how she should proceed. Some people in do US Senate and House of representatives were talking about wiping New Orleans off the map. I admire her for standing firm taking the time to make a decision for the state of Louisiana. Luckily we had general Russell Honoré to the rescue.
