The correct response to "I truly believe at that point he thought it was stolen" is to point out that he had lost 60+ court cases because he had no material evidence to support that belief. All the others preceded that one, and were already decided by the courts and in many cases lost again on appeal to higher courts. Trump had a limited few that were still pending a last ditch effort up to the US Supreme Court, which were ultimately denied/lost on around Jan 11th, but they were by far the exception in terms of the timeline and all had been lost or thrown out at the initial courts and mid-level appeals.

Yes, it was treason and a coup d'etat. Trump has zero conscience and totally denies having anything to do with it too. How can MAGA cancel out that they were chanting, " Hang Mike Pence" over and over? They didnt just walk into the Capitol either. The Capitol was even under Covid restrictions at the time, so they didn't just walk right in. It makes zero sense. I've heard MAGA say that they just let them right in. It's totally illogical. The rationalizing of a coup d'etat is insane. MAGA will do this again if he loses.
