So shoulda rewinded to after both players passed using triggers but before activation of Roland. If you ignore what Elu said about attempting to use roland eff and just chalk it up to fumbling his words, then i agree with letting emporer use on sum eff

His opponent clearly thought he could use Roland equip and since the combo ends on 2 link 1s, isn’t it possible he was saying Charles for the second? I mean he CLEARLY was trying to use Roland eff, not the link 1. He declares it and says as such during the duel. Kind of bizarre ruling by nesh. The toxic to me came after the ruling
