I watched this live and it's the most fun I've had watching yugioh. So many crazy interactions happening from 2 of the best players in the game.

The 'correct' hit to Tear is to ban Merrli so that it can't guarantee a dump with Sprind and also dramatically weaken Elf, but going from 3 fusion effects to 2 per turn is a significant power level decrease. Given that the deck is designed to use its traps and Havnis to play on the opponent's turn, I think it would still be fine, but I don't know if Konami would want that.

Your definitely not wrong, but even then, it feels like that’s not enough
@isaacsamuel60352 жыл бұрын
The could ban field spell and merlli and the deck will still be meta. They’ll need to ban kit or Kaleidoheart to really shut the deck off. Much like how they banned construct back in the day. What’ll probably happen is power creep and we’ll get another broke archetype in a year or 2 lol
@infinitekeys16032 жыл бұрын
They should just ban the entire archetype
@Hclody952 жыл бұрын
i think that to balance the format without straight up banning anything you need to hit havnis and planet, and maybe the kelbek too.

I feel like Hani's list was built simply better. Check out his list his ratios were very well thought out.

Yes. To the point I'm actually impressed. Not many people know or understand the math of deck building. Ratios are VERY important.

@@ygodecktestertube care to explain good ratios?
@ygodecktestertube2 жыл бұрын
@@pineapplebucket7418 Well, for me, I only use ×3 copies of a card if a card is not once per turn and/or can take advantage of having more than ×1 copy (specifically in the hand since what you draw, first in particular, is very important). Also, depending on the situation, I'll use ×3 copies if it's a card I always wanna see. It's usually good to have 6+ cards that have ×3 copies since your chances of opening ×1 each is better, and you'll almost always end up opening with the hand you want. I use ×2 copies if I wanna see a card, but not too much. By using ×2 copies, you're less likely to open multiples, but more likely to get at least ×1 copy. I use ×1 copy for cards that are specifically meant to do one time things or are actually limited and can't be used at more than ×1 copy. For me, I'll use cards at ×1 copy that will add to and/or modify my plays. I hope that helps a bit. That's my first time breaking my ratio logic down to somebody. As a bonus, NEVER use situational cards if you're building competitively because, while it may be cool, the likelihood of you getting optimal benefits out of cards like that are VERY slim, and games aren't won off chance. Furthermore, try to play cards that can play first and second. That way, no matter if you have to play first or second, you'll always be prepared. Lastly, try to play cards that can counter as many decks as possible. It's okay to build against a specific meta, but your deck won't stand against the test of time if it was only built to counter specific strategies.

Shuffling Instant fusion back into deck does help play around Wollow made off double byssted trying to set instant fusion. You can beat that with mudora or keldo anyway but it's kind of scary using one of your gy interruptions in the mirror when they haven't even started trying to resolve tears.
