Similar to what was done for the Nas song featuring Lauryn Hill called If I Ruled the World. They put together three songs by Whodini, Kurtis Blow, and Delfonics to make one masterpiece to top them all. It’s an awesome experience putting them together in a playlist in chronological order and listening to it front to back. Putting the playlist in the order of which song was sampled through the runtime of the Nas song works too. I wonder if there’s a third song the Fugees sampled for their version of Ready or Not?

But People failed to realize that Timbaland also sampled the melody/brass of this song for Missy Elliot's legendary track, "sock it to me." Another reminder that today's musical artists constantly are in the studio listening to the classics.
