Yep I’m in Jacksonville Florida so usually when they predict a hurricane hits us it will turn or downgrade before it gets to us. Right now we are getting gusts of wind and rain. I needed Jake tonight! I came home from work and there was a snake in my driveway!!!

Live on the border of Georgia and South Carolina. Sure could use that now with Tropical Storm Debby heading our way. Getting lots of rain now and expecting more. Some schools are closing tomorrow and likely Wednesday. Please keep us and all the people on her path in your prayers. A 13 year old boy died when a tree fell on their house 😥😥

BTW sudden pressure drops can indicate tornados in the area. So, tornado watch. There is a tropical wave just starting to get in the tropics and is to far out for those predictions. It may come into the gulf in about a week. It depends on conditions as to strength and direction from there. Worth watching and what ifs, but no emergency right now.

If you register with the national weather bureau, you could do daily reports to help with accuracy of weather forecasting. My brother reports daily info from his home in western Kansas, just as our dad did for decades!

No dew point reading?? I go by that more than humidity. Any dew point over 60 means how wet and oppressed you feel outside.
