I showed him and he ended up killing it. He is now my hero. Stay safe out there. And please leave the bee work to Buddy. Y’all are awesome

So glad you spotted the water moccasin and Buddy was able to eliminate it. The #1 priority is keeping the people and animals on Morrow Hill safe! Watched Lester take out 2 intertwined, breeding water moccasins with one shot on one of the ISS videos. It was a very awesome, impressive shot with his rifle. Wow! Jami’s garden is doing wonderful. For someone who didn’t like, nor know anything about, gardening 2 to 3 years ago she’s come a long way! ❤️🙏

Relocation is passing your problem to someone else. Great job Steph & Buddy! A little lunchtime hero action.
@jimmcclure7720 Жыл бұрын
Amen. Sadly some folks don't or won't understand that some things can't and shouldn't be relocated. Like snakes and feral hogs....as you said, it will just pass the problem on to someone else that may not be able to see and/or deal with them. I understand a kind heart but logic dictates that some things simply need destroyed if they are a problem. Of course some snakes are beneficial, like king snakes, garter, coachwhips, or racers, and if I recognize them as safe I leave them be, but a cottonmouth or a copperhead in my parts will be dealt with quickly if I can get it done.

IDK for sure, but when I was a kid, my gardening grandmother wouldn’t let me go out with her to the garden because of snakes and she always said that if you see one snake, there will always be (at least) one more not far away. As far as big snakes, I don’t know because as soon as I see the first one, I’m out! But, I know when I see a ground snake, there’s ALWAYS another with it.

Norma here. You were in the right place at the right time to spot that venomous snake. Thankfully, Buddy was home and got rid of it for good. You absolutely could not allow that reptile to live with so many children and animals in the vicinity. Jami’s garden looks great and you were able to pick a nice basketful. I’ve never seen that type of eggplant, but I do believe that was butternut squash.

With the Japanese eggplant, you can slice them thin and pickle them for couple of days and eat as a relish dish or slice them and stir fry with a protein and or veggies.
