I totally agree ,one of the reasons to visite east Asia is for the beautiful nature.then people an food.I was in north Vietnam an did the ha chiang loop,the beauty was just breathtaking. I miss Thailand especially chiang mai. Thanks for sharing. Continue to enjoy your Adventures.

Hi! We went to more cities along the loop in our previous two videos and explained early on that we wouldn't be stopping at every single place based on the path we took along the loop. We unfortunately didn't have enough time left to stay in the country to see everything.

Hey, so we go through this process in our first video. We were also very careful with the bikes. Take pictures in front of the owner and all that. We rented through Ann's rental and she was wonderful. I think this is the way to go because it's cheaper than buying a bike, and there's no guarantee you can make all of your money back or even sell it in time before you leave.

The camera was busted up pretty bad but I don't think they actually hit it because the body was still in good shape. I think it just blew over when they drove by. An expensive repair, but still lucky it wasn't worse

Planting pines - terrible idea for Thailand's forests. Deciduous are the way to go.

@@TheDetourDuo - The problem with pines is that their needles fall and coat the ground, killing off a lot of the undergrowth. They don't rot down and feed the soil like deciduous leaves will.

woah ok. First, what we said was in fact FROM the Forestry Department. The pine forest is literally a research station run by said department. And Never once did we claim to be experts. You must have missed the part where I said "I certainly have limited resources". Maybe the way I asked my question offended you in some way, but in fact, I asked the original commenter their opinion to educate myself on why they think a different route is necessary and they brought up an excellent point. I don't know where this hostility has come from, but it's not needed my friend. 😁
