CWD Mack MR Heil PowerLift CSL

Here is a truck that I've known about for a little over 8 years now, and have wanted to see it in action ever since. Now finally I got to film it! Although it does not have the original Heil Powerlift, I thought it was kind of cool how it has been retrofitted with a lift that looks to be from S.E.C. (Southwestern Equipment Co.) that would go on a Champion or Challenger CSL, or PendPac with their Sprinter and Impac. Overall I was pretty excited to see this truck and the fact that this is my first ever commercial side loader video!
To the driver: Sorry man I know that you said you did not want to be on youtube, but if only you understood the exact reason why I made this video public. It's because the truck your driving is extremely rare and likely to be one of the last ones in operation. That is why it is significant since me and lot of other guys interested in these trucks can see one since it is now the only other video of one in operation besides this: • HEIL Powerlift
So this video is not to get you in any kind of trouble at all. It's not so much of you that is being seen as the truck is.

Wow,awesome footage! I've never seen that type of trash truck. Loading dumpsters from the side! I always thought they were too heavy for that. Great to see one of these in action.

Was going to say I've never seen one of these in action before, then I checked the link in the description and find out there's a video in my own uploads lol Totally forgot about some of those US videos I threw on here :S Don't often see these side loaders in action so it's a refreshing sight! One thing I love is being able to see the full size blade in clear action - barely see it on an FL. Got a nice growl to the exhaust too :D

Great video! But why is the arm on the left side instead of the right? And what happens if the dumpster falls in the truck?

Thanks! I'm assuming they wanted the arm of the left side for better driver visibility? I'm not sure if a dumpster could fall in but it's possible. I didn't exactly get a close up of how the hooks lock onto the clamps on the arm.

Yeah Commercial Side Loaders like this one are kind of rare and aren't as common. I wouldn't say it's pointless because the layout of some apartment complexes like this one in the video do not have much backup space for front loaders. So this idea is more practical.
