Usually I find the body shape of Kyosho's to be weaker than autoart, but in this case it's shape was actually pretty accurate to the actual car. I still find autoart's body details to be a bit more refined, but Kyosho always nails it with the details especially the interior.

I've got a used kyosho (never thought I'd get an expensive looking model like that for a good price (100CAD ≈ 80USD). Wheels are maybe a smidge too much inside fenders, and fender lips are missing, but then you get movable lashes (even more refined) to access the oil without opening the hood, you get generic kyosho michelin tyres that are sooo crisp, realistic photo-etched steering wheel, etc... I mean. Both models are gems.

I believe the Kyosho is best overall. The comparison doesn't touch a few very important aspects ofthe Kyosho. 1st of all the A-pillar (on the side of the windscreen) is correctly curved on the Kyosho, while on the Autoart they reproduced it as a much simpler straight line. It's just a mistake by Autoart. Then there is the side air intake which is much better made on the Kyosho. As for the wheels. Those on the Kyosho have the inflating valve, and it's actually a separate piece, I believe it's actually a metal part. Then we could talk about the fact that the Kyosho has working suspensions, and the air outlet on the passenger side on the front clamshell can be opend to reveal the fuel filler cap. These days seems like everything Autoart must be better than any Kyosho, but it's really not the case, and that's especially true on the Miura P 400 and SV by Kyosho. But I could say the same about the 911 2.7 RS by Minichamps which is a better model than the 911 2.7 RS by Autoart.

I have both models. They are great replicas. The problem with the kyosho is the slightly higher rear grille. I also don't think it's 100% correct in the autoart. In some details one is better than the other. However, in things as important as the wheels/rims (level of detail, chrome), door openings and grilles or the general line of the car (bodywork, design), the kyosho is superior, it´s better. The paint treatment is somewhat better in the autoart. However, inside, both in terms of details, quality of materials or fidelity, kyosho clearly wins!! No doubt! Overall, if I could only choose one, I'd go with the kyosho. It is better adding all the sections or points and those that I consider to be the most important in the car.

I think the Kyosho is better in some areas and the AUTOart in other areas. I've got 2 Kyosho Miura in my collection and have had 6 different versions :) Great video as always!

Yes. Kyosho has the correct 27 slats on the front grill, but the rear grill under the tail lights is too tall. (Depends on what full scale car they used for reference though. Some restorers unfortunately have a close enough good enough mentality and Kyosho may have dutifully coppied an errant restoration. (I give credit to Kyosho for putting the Urraco out in 1/18 though. Thanks, but please finish the V-8 line of cars!)

Kyoshos rims have slightly more detail / shading. I also like Kyoshos tire tread pattern. And as others mentioned, seatbelts. Otherwise Autoart in all other instances. Why did you buy both lol

The Kyosho in this video belongs to my friend but meanwhile, I have actually gotten myself a Kyosho Miura SV in red/orange and gold. I might do a video on that one in the future :) Also I agree with you!

If you took the best of both models and combined them you would have the perfect model. Kyosho has the best enterior. AutoArt more refined detail. Video is easier to watch with the Mute button actuated. Dreadful music.
