I was lucky enough to visit the brand new Digimon Adventure CAFE experience in Tokyo Japan, which opened in April 2024! Here's a look inside for those who aren't able to attend.

Man. The digimon movie animation studio was ahead of its time. I’ve always loved the digimon movie as a kid and now that I’m an adult that’s into animation and art, it’s amazing to see how modern and fluid the digimon movie was 20+ years ago.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the digimon popup cafe experience. For me, if there was a Digimon popup cafe nearby, I would love to be themed around all the Digimon anime released so far and that there are merchandise based on each partner.

Very cool! Also thank you for acknowledging the female demographic! Every hardcore digimon fan I know of in person is a girl! We love those adorable Y2Kdread-infused critters! ^_^ Can you please share more details about the cards? Does the brand say Ensky, emoca, or something like that?

Thanks & of course! I know a lot of women who are Digimon superfans, but I see weird people online sometimes acting like only dudes care about the series. "Y2K dread infused critters" is so funny. As for the cards there is very little info / text on them. No mention of the brands you asked about. Just a copyright "H T"

@@thedigiknow Ah okay. Thank you for the info! Sometimes with previous cafes/pop-ups I could find the cards secondhand through online shops if I knew enough details to search. I have a few from the Adventure:2020 cafes because of that. The cards you have are already showing on ebay but oof, for several hundred dollars.

That cafe looks cool, yeah I've heard that these little pop up cafes aren't the best sometimes like the mario one at universal so I'm glad the curry was good

Haha yeah I went to the Mario Cafe at Universal studios LA last summer and it was one of the worst food experiences of my life lmao. The rest of the Mario World was cool though!

I'm not sure if it's still open! As for recommendations, unfortunately not! I became aware of this through Digimon fan sites like withthewill, but they don't really cover OTHER anime cafes!

1st second of this video and I lost respect to the cafe. Seriously? You can't print a poster for Izzy and another for Joe? Edit: they had separated cards. All is good in the world. It's just a nitpick I had with the original series, the favoritism for Tai and Matt. Still irks me a little bit but it is amazing that places like these exist

Yeah, most of the interacting is done on a smart phone / ipad. You can translate the Japanese text to English. But you should know a little bit of Japanese to be safe.
