Well, I been practicing at the Spa track and been getting some pretty good times, haven't ran a race yet, because I'm not consistent enough. However, I just seen a post on another KZbin channel that said you can run the Mazda without pitting, rendering all other options completely useless. Therefore, I'm not going to worry about that race, I'll start working on the one at Deep Forest. What a waste of time running laps at the Spa? I hate when there's something OP in a game and everyone uses it. I won't use what everyone else is using. I'm not a sheep. If they're going to have a BOP race, it needs to be BOP. The cars shouldn't run exactly the same, but it should be equal and balanced for all cars. If not, they need to do away with BOP. To have a single car that can run the race without pitting, in a race where you're supposed to pit is absurd. Might be some kind of advertising BS showing everyone that Mazdas get better gas mileage than any other brand. Wouldn't surprise me.

Mazda can do a better run in the race but RCZ is better for the quly, I don't know the story behind it tho. Look at the first couple of months as a Beta testing for GR.3 and GR.4. in GT Sport they changed the BoP like 10 times in a couple of years so the process really takes time

Love your content, has helped me improve a lot. I was wondering why don’t you upshift to 6th gear on the straights? I tried to stay on 5th like you do, but the car loses power, I am doing something wrong I guess 🤷‍♂️ Edit* Mate, thanks to you got my first victory in Spa, great tips. The technique with downshifting while turning has improved my lap time by at least 4 seconds..

Thanks, if you're using the RCZ I would highly recommend staying in 5th gear since you lose around 0.05s for each upshift. Not much but when you do it twice there is a potential loss of around a tenth. You see the difference but only after 259 km/h.

I’m getting super frustrated. No matter how hard I try, my lap time is 2:23!!! I’m using a wheel, rig, took off the Traction control. I suck at manual. So even on automatic, I can’t shave any seconds off. 😡😡😡

Hey mate just wondering if I could have some help. Obviously in gt7 there is road cars and race cars. Since race cars have different grades, it's easy to make custom races fair as you can just select the grade you want to race against. However, when I use a road car in a custom race, the game always gives me cars which I'm much faster than. Using a lambo aventador road car as an example, when I race using that car, the ai are using cars which are miles slower. How can I fix this? Some people have said up the difficulty but I'm already doing it on professional.

That's just the way it goes, if you want to race competitive you can go online, but in single player that's pretty much it

@@DigitRacingDG oh really, that's a bit shit, can't really see the point in putting loads of road cars in the game if you can't race fairly with them offline. Thanks for the reply though you have defo been the most helpful, new sub :)

@@Ben-kk6xm Have you went to the options menu and changed the race difficulty? To make the AI harder you need to go to the first option tab and look for the box with the pepper that says Race Difficulty. Change that to hard. This makes all "rival" cars faster than you. Not every car will be faster, but the rivals will be. This may not change the custom games though. I know it changes the campaign races.
