Ok, this is exciting. Kudos to Cease and McB for having the foresight to see the next level in disc golf, and making it happen. I hope we see more of this in the future, and I have no prob with 'pay to play' courses if I know they're going to be high quality. Even better if they have a good club shop and a brewery on site....😉

Can't wait to see the Throw Down the Mountain course on the pro tour. McBeth and Cease are thinking next-level.

I remember banging our Frisbees off a tree instead of putting into a basket back in the day. I was blessed with the opportunity to be one of the designers and builders of the 1st PDGA approved course in our area. We did it with around 6-8 guys, an old pick up truck and a chainsaw! We wheel barrowed in concrete or just mixed it at the T pad! So much love and dedication went into building that course! It is still going strong after 20+ years and has even hosted our State championship as well as produced at least one Pro. I said all that to preface this...I Love the sport and those associated with it! I'm So stoked about the future of Disc Golf! Above all else lets keep it affordable to everyone! 😀

Cactus Rock is going to be Awesome! I've spent a little time there and did get to meet Dylan for the first time a week or so ago. So far, it is unlike any course around and will be Epic. Shout out to By His Hands on the work they are doing will be doing for the next few months!

This was a terrific interview, fellas. I love that I can share this with some of my buddies who are more mainstream pro sports fans, as they tend to view disc golf as sort of silly, lol. Well, here’s one of the best pitchers in MLB diving into disc golf, full bore. Great job, dudes!

Word. Kudos to You guys doing what you guys are doing with courses and course work. If funded well disc golf could build aesthetically looking and challenging courses that alot of different people would love to play. Paul and Cease a huge shout out and thanks. Get other ball and disc golf players teaming up. Could see them doing alot of good for the community and family of disc golf. Thanks again.

I’ve walked and played Cactus Rock a couple times, the first time was very early on. It was great. The 2nd time was recently and it was absolutely epic. Cactus Rock will be something special, and you won’t wanna miss out on it

Interesting. Makes sense that they would rebrand Gran Canyon to something they could market, but I guess I just wasn’t expecting it. Can’t wait to play the permanent layout

Cool interview! Please check out Highbridge Hills Megaplex in northern Wisconsin. Home of the 2007 PDGA Pro World Championship. They had a tough year last year and in jeopardy of losing everything to developers. We visited last year for the first time. Gorgeous property with major potential!

I forgot Dylan was a SB Cub back in 2017. We have some great courses in the South Bend area. Glad he loves disc golf and is making his own contribution to it.

My friends and I use to drive and play Rum Village early mornings and then play Madeline Bertrand once it was open. Fun little courses.

Fellow south bend native I never knew he played for the sb cubs. Only played run village so can’t say much about the rest of the courses around here

@Rellik137 head to Niles and play Madeline Bertrand. It's a Steady Ed built course. It's short but so fun and beautiful, especially this time of year with the leaves changing. It will make your midrange game tight. It is Pay to Play.

@Rellik137 Rum is awesome and just up the road in Mishawaka is George Wilson DGC which is now the best course in the area. Check it out when you have a chance.

Dylan doesn’t give himself credit tbh. If he played full time, he could also use a forehand. He’d easily be 1000 rated

No offense to Mr Cease, but he might not ven be the best MLB player that disc golfs. My dude Seth Lugo can bomb a disc and is a great putter. This was 10+ years ago though.
