I have Mars in the 3rd house and I've been keeping a diary for 13 years and every time I have a spare moment I write something because there is just so much trauma to be fixed in my mind, lol. Yeah you are right, we are very repressed kids... When I get angry it is soo hard for me to put what I am feeling into words. It never satisfies me so I always write everything down, hoping I will eventually get a hold of it. Sometimes I do. But never completely. I get told I have a refreshing attitude and I bring joy, maybe because I have learnt to treasure the miracles that have come out of my traumas. Love you Alyssa!

I have Uranus and Saturn in Sagittarius in my 3rd house.I am pretty quiet for the most part because I find I can’t really relate to a lot of people and their superficial topics these days.But what really makes me into a chatterbox is when someone like myself is interested in philosophy, Spirituality, the supernatural and also bizarre and taboo topics that I also feel very comfortable discussing. I especially love the philosophical and could talk about it for hours. I have my Sagittarius to thank for wanting to constantly seek out knew forms of knowledge and wisdom. I have Mars and Saturn in Capricorn in my 3rd house. You hit the nail on the head. I grew up in a repressive religion, I wasn't allowed to leave my house/yard as a child, and my mother was extremely overprotective about anything, and everything. I've fallen into several debilitating addictions, I ended up in a relationship where I was even more repressed/caged, and now, in my late 20's, I'm a writer. I also have a massive problem expressing any kind of emotion, even in situations where I know I should, and I've moved location a dozen times when I was younger. I haven't seen any other astrologer make connections to all that with only the 3rd house. Amazing job, really nice to finally know where all that baggage came from. :]

I was teased and bullied alot in my neighborhood and at my school when I was growing up, so my mom was very restricting and really wouldn't let me go outside and have friends because she was scared that the bullying would get worse. This is a great video. I'm going through all of your house videos because I was actually curious about the 2nd house(I have Venus conjunct with Uranus by almost 4 degrees in Scorpio in my 2nd house). But I have 3 planets and my North Node(on my 3rd house cusp in Scorpio) in my 3rd house; my Zodiac(Sagittarius) as well as my Mercury and Neptune within 9°11' of each other. Very close together. So it's important to me in order to learn how that shapes my personality even if its not to most astrologists who read natal charts and everything you said in this video makes so much sense about my personality. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved to Camden NJ(near Philly) when I was 8 and though I've never gone back, my heart is still there because I remember lots of things from my childhood living. My favorite football and baseball teams are from Cincinnati(Reds and Bengals) because I connected to them from childhood and it represents a lot of memories that I had living there. But I'm way mote connected to Camden NJ. First, Camden is considered one of these dangerous cities in the 🇺🇸. It's poverty stricken. Most people want to leave. Not me. I'm comfortable there and happy there. I know most if all of the city. I can do my short travels to get to where I want to go and it's all comfortable for me. Other than me being in the army for a year, Camden has been my home and I'm not ashamed to say it! It's weird to say because I'm a Sagittarius Zodiac and it's the opposite of it, but according to Astro.com and since my natal chart ruling planet is Mercury rules my rising sign(Virgo) and also rules Gemini(I actually have Mars retrograde opposite my Mercury on my 10th house cusp in Gemini), that nearly equal in Gemini and Sagittarian dominance and I'm very Mercury dominan and Mercury rules 3rd house activity. A lot of it is also the fact that I have no connection to my biological family and barely to my adopted family. My 4th house cusp is ruled by Sagittarius and being that my 4th house has no planets in it to influence it, I have a Mercurian(it's 4 degrees close to my 4th house cusp) mindset towards it and my 3rd house mindset is a major influence on why. You probably don't even remember doing this video @Alyssa Trahan but just know that it's helping people and thank you having this channel. I'm going to the 4th house after this.

I have Gemini ascendant and third house leo. I'm really just learning houses right now, this is the first video I've ever watched on the third house. Someone asked me last night why am I so attached to the town I live in, why am I afraid to move away? I'm not even originally from this town but for some reason I'm very attached to it even though I don't know a lot of people. so glad you used that as an example because now I have can answer that question. I have Saturn in 3rd Libra (conjunct Pluto in 2nd Libra,) intercepted Scorpio, then Jupiter in 3rd Sagittarius (conjunct Uranus Rx in 4th Sag across IC.) This is GREAT perspective on Saturn in 3rd, and was absolutely my experience with my neighborhood/community as a child. Feel really seen.. wow. Yea I'm a 3rd house stellium: sun, mercury, venus, mars, and Saturn. My houses are intercepted too so Saturn is 0 degrees pisces and the rest are in Aquarius. I found ways to be self expressive through my appearance. I dressed very loud and over the top. Writing is also a big thing for me and always has been. Virgo midheaven helps that too lol. But yes I'm like a big kid at heart, I can find humor or fun in just about anything, I don't like to let anything be mundane. Even the most boring of tasks I will find a way to enjoy or make fun. I've always considered that my own personal blessing. A thing I really like about myself. I almost never get bored. I had no idea the 3rd house was considered boring... I think it's rather fun being a 3rd house baby especially with so many planets there 😅 but I never knew it could explain my insane PTSD. In recent years been getting those earlier years back in memory and it has been awful but eye opening and necessary for healing. Loved this video!

I have a malefic, sun, in my 3rd house in Scorpio conjoined w Pluto and i k that sun represents father and Pluto is like a trauma planet and indeed, my father has been judging and abusing me my whole life for caring about things he thinks aren’t important or “less than”. I love laughing and can make anything into a joke and tend to care about everyday random stuff but I indeed do know a lot of random things that no one cares about lol. I take a lot of notes about these things and I found a journal from when I was in HS were I took copious notes about chicken eggs (??) like pages and pages ... I’m interested in 9th house stuff but I would never sit around obsessing about it because it’s beyond anything anyone can really know. So all of this made a lot of sense to me, thank you. I didn't feel like i had the freedom to be who i truly was. which gave me the tendency to rebel in my teenage years. Okay my char is confusing. I have Gemini and Sagittarius intercepted. And Leo and Aquarius with 2 houses in each. I have a Leo ascendant. Interesting. Cancer in the 3rd house and I grew up under the microscope under the microscope of very emotionally unstable and abusive people. My whole life has been a lesson in learning to express my true self honestly regardless of how people react and whether they respond or not. But what came from that is like superhuman level empathy & intuition in dealing with soooooo many people with the craziest triggers. Also helps being a Pisces rising with intercepted aries & libra (lack of fire & sense of “self”/individuality + no interpersonal skills & strong “people” connections). And I moved around a lot & lived in some dangerous places. (Inner city kid) 🤔😅🤷🏽‍♂️ Crazy to find this now, but spirit kept saying to “tap into your Cancer energy” which was weird and hard to understand having a Capricorn/11th house stellium. I have Pluto in the 3rd.....it means you're going to go a helluva lot deeper into your neighborhood, family etc, than just about anyone. Honestly it didn't mean anything to me until much later in life. A lot will depend on aspects made to Pluto by other planets, as well as the sign and its ruler. For example, if Libra is in your 3rd look to Venus' positions and aspects. The Pluto energy will be channeled through Venus in many ways. What if I have a lot of planets in the 3rd house, but they're mostly outer planets? Is that still considered 3rd house heavy? Or is "heavy" like the sun or moon, planets with more influence? My 3rd house is in Capricorn with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Lilith, Node and Juno.

I have mars in the 2nd, and I know this isnt the video for that but your mars rant clicked something for me: mars in the second means my anger and hostility is either directed toward or influenced by my self worth! i had a lot of self-hate issues based on feeling worthless for many many years. My entire anger was surrounding that, I almost never got angry about anything else! It was mostly self-directed anger, so I wonder if that is libra? bc i read that mars in libra makes someone water down or hide their anger?
